Andrew started the new week with two recommended bets/trades at Thirsk and Kempton on Monday, September 18th.

THIRSK 1.50

ODD VENTURE hasn’t had many opportunities on turf in Class 6 company since joining current trainer Micky Hammond, finishing a 15-2 fourth at Catterick after a two-month break, a close-up 17-2 third at Beverley after six weeks off and winning at Musselburgh (5-1) on his return from a 28-day break. His sole win in Ireland also came at basement level on turf after a recent outing and he’s worth siding with now back in this grade after a disappointing effort in Class 5 company at Catterick 28 days ago. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ODD VENTURE in Thirsk 1.50

KEMPTON 7.30

KING CABO was flattered by his Lingfield turf win off a mark of 69 back in May taking full advantage of the stands’ side ‘golden highway’. The Luke Dace-trained four-year-old has, now rated 76, tasted in defeat in all five subsequent starts (100-30 (twice), 7-2), 9-1 and 10-1) and though placed in three of those he’s finished weakly the last twice and can be taken on once more. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: oppose KING CABO in Kempton 7.30

Please note that the picks recommended in this blog post are based on past performance and should not be considered a guarantee for future winning outcomes, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
