Andrew made a good profit with his sell of WARREN HILL (10th, 5-1) on Tuesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, September 27th.

GOODWOOD JOCKEYS

Since racing resumed after lockdown in the summer of 2020 TOM MARQUAND is 30 from 189 at Goodwood (16% strike-rate) for a profit of £30.16 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 24.24, A/E = 1.24). He’s also ridden 27 seconds in that time and has returned home with at least one winner in 11 of his last 14 visits to the Sussex venue. LATTAM, who rarely runs a bad race given slow ground or an all-weather surface is going to be hard to beat in the 1m Class 2 handicap (2.30), while overnight support for in-form Ed Walker’s SASSY BELLE in the 3.05 is highly encouraging. Her last-time out Kempton fifth is easily forgiven as she went without headgear and the blinkers are back on today. MY PROSPERO (3.40), two from two below Group 2 level since his debut, could outclass his opponents in the 1m2f Listed race despite the ground being slower than ideal and ROYAL MILA could appreciate the step up in trip in the 1m6f handicap. Buy TOM MARQUAND in the Spreadex GOODWOOD JOCKEYS market.

Recommendation: Buy TOM MARQUAND in Goodwood Jockeys

REDCAR 5.02

There’s stacks of early pace in this 5f handicap and even with the forecast tailwind I still want to side with a horse likely to be ridden patiently. Step forward SAAHEQ, who looks well drawn in stall 1 of 12. The Adrian Nicholls-trained veteran didn’t have the race run to suit when beaten by less than three lengths into a 16-1 sixth at Newmarket last time and he can sneak through late up the far rail. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back SAAHEQ in Redcar 5.02
