Andrew starts the new week with two recommended bets/trades at Ludlow on Monday, November 27th.

LUDLOW 12.35

Front-runner TIME INTERVAL was a useful performer on the Flat and proved that April’s 100-1 runner-up effort to Mustazeed at Newbury was no fluke when going one better on heavy ground in a Class 2 Goodwood handicap next time. He disappointed back at Newbury in his sole subsequent start but the fast ground was against him that day, and it was always going to be difficult to see off his 18 rivals from the front. The tongue-tie goes on for the first time in this 2m maiden hurdle and he could out-run big odds if his jumping is up to scratch. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back TIME INTERVAL in Ludlow 12.35

LUDLOW 1.40

JUSTSHORTOFABUBBLE has won two of his last three starts but benefitted from a strong early gallop on each occasion, especially at Taunton last time where the pace collapsed. The first four home were described by the Racing Post as ‘towards rear’, ‘midfield, ‘towards rear’ and ‘towards rear of midfield’ and it seems likely that the Grace Harris-trained six-year-old was flattered. I was tempted to sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market but there’s always the possibility she’ll plod on into a place and I’d rather try to find the winner. Step forward SAFE DESTINATION, who will appreciate the right-handed track and better ground after pulling up in the mud when favourite at Warwick last time. He also looks the likeliest leader and could prove hard to pass.

Recommendation: Back SAFE DESTINATON in Ludlow 1.40
