Andrew found 7-1 Kempton winner GRAIGNES on Wednesday & went close with his other bet (2nd, 15-2). He has two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, June 29th.
GIRL MAGIC, forecast to start at 5-1 in this 6f handicap, was a winner on the straight turf course at Lingfield on her latest start but looked flattered by racing on the ‘golden highway’. There was a huge high-draw bias that night and she was drawn closest to the favoured rail in stall 8 of 8. Runner-up Raven’s Up (stall 7) was also flattered from her high draw and she’s been well beaten in both subsequent outings. Sell GIRL MAGIC in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with top weight CROW’S NEST, unbeaten in two starts since running green on his debut at Windsor where he finished a 14-1 third.
Recommendation: Oppose GIRL MAGIC in Newmarket 3.10
WILLIAM BUICK departed Kempton with two winners (7-1 and 3-1) from his last two rides on Wednesday night and can continue where he left off at Newmarket today. EMPIRE OF LIGHT looked in need of he run when beaten at Bath on his debut and should know more in the 2.00, while SEA MASTER, Charlie Johnston’s sole runner in the 1m4f handicap (2.35) from a trio of five-day entries, looks set to run a big race. Backing Johnston-trained handicap runners on the July Course has long been a route to profit and I’m happy to forgive his last-time-out Doncaster defeat in a race won by his short-priced stablemate. CROW’S NEST (see above) has strong claims in the 3.10, while Godolphin’s SPRING DAWN heads the betting at around the even-money mark in the fillies’ novice stakes after finishing second on her first two outings. WILD SIDE took advantage of the three-year-old weight-for-age allowance when successful at Redcar last time and has strong claims of following up in the 4.55 and BYRON HILL (5.30), at 6-1 his biggest-priced mount of the day, could improve for the first-time blinkers. Buy WILLIAM BUICK at 56 in the Spreadex NEWMARKET JOCKEYS market. Fixed odds punters might want to combine his rides in a multiple bet.
Recommendation: Buy WILLIAM BUICK in Newmarket Jockeys.
