A busy week of sport will be focused around tennis, football and cricket, with the first week of Wimbledon now underway, the Young Lions looking for glory in the U-21 Euros, and England looking to turn the tide and avoid embarrassment against Australia in the third Ashes Test. As always, our traders have taken a look at the upcoming action and picked out some markets to watch out for in the latest Bets of the Week!
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation.

TENNIS – WIMBLEDON
The 2023 Wimbledon Championships are now underway as Novak Djokovic looks to win his eighth title at SW19 and equal Margaret Court's all-time tennis record (for men or women) of 24 majors. World number one and top seed Carlos Alcaraz is the second favourite behind the Serb and will be keen to avenge his loss in the French Open semi-finals just a few weeks ago, as well as being buoyed by his first grass-court title at Queen's Club. Meanwhile, in the women's draw, Iga Swiatek will be looking to have her best run at Wimbledon and justify her favourite tag, but will face stiff competition from defending champion Elena Rybakina and Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka. You can read our full Wimbledon betting preview here.
In terms of bets to look out for, we have several Wimbledon specials to offer a more nuanced way to bet on the action at the All England Club. These Special markets include Total Sets Won to Love, Total Tie-Breaks, and more. We also have some Player Specials including grouping players like Top Guns, Next Gen and Home Town Hero, where you can bet on the best performing player of a particular grouping, as well as our Name the Finalists market. In that market, for example, the current spread on the top two seeds (Djokovic and Alcaraz) is 46 - 51. The market is settled on a 100 - 25 - 0 basis, meaning if both players do reach the final and you buy at 51, you would make 49x your stake. However, if you decided to buy and only one of those players made the final, you would lose 26x your stake, or 51x your stake if neither made it. Similarly, if one makes it and you decide to sell at 46, you would make 21x your stake.
In the women's draw, defending champion Elena Rybakina has a spread of 15 - 18 and will surely be a difficult player to beat on the quick grass surface. With the market settling at 60 if she does win it, buying at 18 would bring a potential profit of 42x your opening wager.

CRICKET - ENGLAND v AUSTRALIA 3RD TEST
The second Ashes Test at Lord's ended in massive disappointment for England as they fell to a possibly terminal defeat to Australia, leaving them 2-0 down in the series with just three matches to play. The visitors now only need a draw in this Test to win the series and retain the urn, so England will have to produce a magical turnaround to have any hopes of securing the win which they require to keep the series alive.
Will Australia approach with caution and aim for a draw (7/2), or will they grab a decisive and emphatic third win from three (11/10) to win the urn? England are available as slim favourites 6/4 to at least get on the board and avoid a whitewash.
In terms of our Ashes Long Terms markets, Australia to win the series 5-0 is available at 11/2, while England to grab a famous 3-2 success can be backed at 8/1. In our Batsman Runs long-terms, Usman Khawaja currently has 300 runs with a spread of 524 - 539, while Joe Root currently has 196 runs with a spread of 466 - 484. Would you buy or sell on the final make-ups?
FOOTBALL - U-21 EUROS SEMI-FINALS & FINAL
In the highest-profile football of the week, The Young Lions continue their quest for U-21 Euro glory as they take on Israel in the semi-finals, aiming to book a final against either Spain or Ukraine. England have yet to even concede a goal in this tournament so far and have already beaten Israel in the group stages, so confidence will certainly be high amongst the collective. That dominance is reflected in the pre-match Supremacy spread of 1.25 - 1.45 in The Young Lions' favour. Will there be a repeat of the 2-0 scoreline from the group stage? That result can be backed here again at 5/1, while buyers may find value in the 1st Israel Goal market currently at 68 - 71. That market would settle at 90 if Israel fail to score, meaning a 19x return on stake. Israel have only scored two goals in their four games so far after defeating co-hosts Georgia on penalties in the quarter-finals after a 0-0 stalemate.
In the other match, there is another group stage rematch but one that promises to be an enticing encounter. Ukraine have arguably been the tournament's surprise package and produced a big statement with a come from behind 3-1 win over France in the quarter finals, spearheaded by Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk. Spain drew 2-2 with the Ukrainians in the final group match, and with their talent and pedigree go into this as strong favourites at 4/6 on the fixed odds. However, with Ukraine at 18/5, could the underdogs once again produce an upset here? Both Teams to Score is available at 8/11, and that has occurred in both of the sides' last two matches in this tournament.
In terms of the Outright Tournament Winner market, England are favourites at 6/5 - will they justify those odds and bring home the trophy? Don't miss the final on Sunday to find out.
