CRICKET – ENGLAND v AUSTRALIA T20 SERIES

The dust may be just settling on the English Test summer which was rounded off by defeat against Sri Lanka at the Oval, but in the ever-revolving world of modern cricket, the Aussies are in town for a T20 series.

With an entirely new white ball side compared to the red ball outfit, Brendon McCullum will be hoping to sprinkle some ‘Bazball’ magic following Matthew Mott’s dismissal after a dismal T20 World Cup defence.

England met Australia in the Caribbean and were roundly trounced by 26 runs in the pool sage of the World Cup. Unsurprisingly based off that result in Barbados, the hosts are 11/8 to secure a victory tomorrow with Welsh-born Phil Salt captaining the side for the first time. The visitors, with a wealth of talent can be backed to win on the south coast at 4/7.

In addition to our fixed odds, we will have a full range of cricket spread betting options from player run spreads to Sixes Squared.

FOOTBALL – PREMIER LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONSHIP

It is safe to say that international football is not everyone’s cup of tea and those people will be counting down the days until the return of domestic football. Manchester United are 3/4 to get back to winning ways in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off away to Southampton whilst on Sunday, Arsenal are 0.2-0.4 football spread betting Supremacy favourites for their North London Derby against Tottenham.

In addition to Southampton’s match, Leicester are on the road at Crystal Palace, whilst Ipswich travel to Nottingham Forest. The treble on all three newly-promoted sides losing pays 2.96/1 from 2.82/1 thanks to our acca boost feature.

In the Championship, there is a top six clash between Leeds and Burnley with the hosts priced up at 7/10 whilst league leaders (and our principal partners) Sunderland are 4/5 to make it five Championship wins in a row as they face a long trip to Plymouth.

North of the border, Celtic look likely to lift another successive title and the Hoops’ point spread is 96-98 ahead of this weekend’s clash with a struggling Hearts side.

GOLF – IRISH OPEN

Royal County Down plays host to the Irish Open this week with Rory McIlroy 6/1 to lift a title he first won in 2016. Shane Lowry is also prominent in the betting, with the Irishman a shock winner back in 2009 when entered as an amateur and the fan favourite is 10/1 to triumph in County Down.

Aaron Rai was runner-up in 2020 and the man from Wolverhampton is 14/1 this weekend, Robert MacIntyre is 18/1 to become the first man to win the Scottish and Irish Opens in the same year whilst defending champion Vincent Norman is a whopping 200/1 to retain his crown.
