The domestic football season may well be taking a hiatus, but there are plenty of online betting options for punters to enjoy this week. There is an international flavour to our bets of the week with the Cricket World Cup, Rugby World Cup, and international football all drawing bettors' eyes. Meanwhile on home soil, Catalans Dragons will look to be the first overseas side to win the Grand Final when they face Wigan on Saturday.

Make sure you don't miss any of the in-play betting action and keep an eye out for our pre-match and in-play price boosts on the website or our betting app, which you can download in the App Store or Google Play store.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

CRICKET WORLD CUP

For cricket betting punters, there is one focus over the next few weeks and that is the Cricket World Cup. After being beaten in their opening game by New Zealand, England drifted in our Cricket World Cup outright odds to 6/1 whilst the Indian side have been backed in to 6/4 to lift the trophy on home soil having beaten Australia in their opener.

Aside from our outright markets, we have plenty of cricket spread betting options for you to trade from long term markets to our usual market leading array of spreads for every match in India. If you want to find out more about cricket spread betting then you can do so with our handy guide.

RUGBY WORLD CUP

The Rugby World Cup reaches the knockout stage this week, with Wales, Ireland and England all still in the competition. Steve Borthwick’s side have the easiest draw on paper and in our rugby handicap betting they are currently -7.5 favourites for their clash with Fiji.

Wales will face Argentina on Saturday afternoon and will likely go off favourites with the Welsh currently 4/7 to win the match. Ireland have a tougher prospect when they line up against New Zealand on Saturday night whilst the closest match of the quarter finals appears to be Sunday night’s clash between France and South Africa with both the hosts at 5/6 and the Springboks 10/11.

There isn’t much to split the teams at the top of our Rugby World Cup outright betting market with France currently 5/2, South Africa available to back at 11/4 and Ireland and New Zealand at 3/1 and 4/1 respectively. In our top tryscorer betting, French flyer Damian Penaud is the 4/5 favourite to lead the way.

SUPER LEAGUE GRAND FINAL

This weekend sees the culmination of the Super League season and after four years of dominance, St Helens’ reign as champions is over. They were beaten in the semi-final by a Sam Tomkins inspired Catalans Dragons who head to Old Trafford as the 5/4 outsiders to lift the trophy.

Having finished the season in sublime style, including a thumping win away in Perpignan, Wigan brushed aside Hull KR last week to put themselves in with a chance of lifting their first Grand Final since 2018. They are currently 4/7 favourites in our rugby league betting to lift the trophy on Saturday night.

Aside from our outright markets we will have plenty of handicap lines, tryscorer betting options and of course a wide range of rugby league spread betting options including Match Supremacy, Total Try Minutes, Scrabbled Shirts, Kicking Metres and many more.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

International matches take centre stage in our football betting markets this week with Wales and England playing friendlies against Gibraltar and Australia respectively. For Scotland, it is a much more serious affair as they look to wrap up qualification to the Euros. Steve Clarke’s side travel to Spain on Thursday as 9/1 longshots to make it back-to-back wins over La Roja.

Ireland have endured a fairly dismal qualifying campaign so far but they are 7/5 favourites to beat Greece in Dublin on Friday night whilst Northern Ireland are heavy 1/66 favourites to get the better of San Marino on Saturday afternoon.
