FOOTBALL – AUSTRALIA (W) v ENGLAND (W)

The Women’s World Cup has reached the semi-final stage and England have the chance to right the wrongs from four years ago and reach the final for the first time.

In their way are hosts Australia but the Lionesses are 11/8 favourites to win inside 90 with a win for the Aussies at 12/5 and the draw is 21/10. We have plenty of fixed odds boosts with Alessia Russo 12/5 to score anytime, England to win on penalties pushed to 17/2 and Millie Bright to score a header now 28/1 from 20/1.

In the spread betting markets, Total Goals is 2.05-2.25 whilst the Bookings spread is 24-27 as Sarina Wiegman’s side chase down the biggest trophy in the women’s game.

FOOTBALL – MANCHESTER CITY v SEVILLA

Josko Gvardiol could be in line for his full Manchester City debut on Wednesday as Pep Guardiola’s side look to add the UEFA Super Cup to their ever expanding trophy cabinet.

Europa League specialists Sevilla will be their opponents in Greece but the English outfit are strong 4/11 favourites to win the match, with the draw at 4/1 and the Spanish side 15/2.

City are the string favourites for this one and the Supremacy spread has them 1.35-1.55 favourites whilst goals are also expected in Greece with our Total Goals spread available to buy or sell at a high line of 2.8-3.

RUGBY LEAGUE – WAKEFIELD TRINITY v CASTLEFORD TIGERS

After the dust settles on the Challenge Cup, attention turns back to Super League this weekend and the televised game on Friday looks set to be a cracker. Trinity are likely to be narrow favourites at a sold out Belle Vue when they welcome their rivals from nine miles down the road for what promises to be a seismic clash.

Points difference separates these two postcode rivals and with just five matches left in the season after this weekend, it will be a crucial clash. Elsewhere this week, Challenge Cup winners Leigh face Catalans on Saturday in front of the Sky Sports cameras whilst Leeds play Warrington on Sunday.

TENNIS – CINCINNATTI OPEN

The US Open is just around the corner, but before the great and the good of the tennis world descend on Flushing Meadows, they will first travel to Cincinnati for a scintillating week of action.

World number one Carlos Alcaraz is the 17/10 favourite on the men’s side of the draw with Novak Djokovic just behind in the betting at 13/5. Daniil Medvedev is 11/2 and the only other player at a single figure price with defending champion Borna Coric a whopping 80/1 outsider.

Despite Andy Murray's withdrawal through injury, there is still British interest with Dan Evans priced at 6/5 to advance against Lorenzo Musetti whilst Cameron Norrie is a narrow 4/5 favourite in his clash with Gael Monfils.

Polish sensation Iga Swiatek is the 15/8 favourite to land the women’s title this week and her nearest challengers are two more Eastern Europeans with Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka at 17/4 and Moscow-born Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina priced at 15/2.
