After a week which saw the thrills and spills of the Cheltenham Festival, major European and domestic football and the Players Championship from Sawgrass many online betting punters will be taking stock.

However, while the excitement levels may not be as high this week, there are plenty of spread betting events which catch the eye, including the commencement of the IPL season. We have previewed the odds and spreads below in our bets of the week betting blog.

The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

FOOTBALL – INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

Thomas Tuchel takes charge of England for the first time this week as the Three Lions host Albania and it should be a winning start for the German. England are a prohibitive 2/13 on our fixed odds market, but for more of a backable angle, they are available to trade with a 2.05-2.65 start on our Supremacy football spread betting market.

Also in World Cup Qualifying action are Wales, with Craig Bellamy’s side 1.95-2.15 to get their campaign off to a very nice start against Kazakhstan. Home fans in Cardiff will be anticipating a great success with this being the Dragons’ first ever meeting with the former Soviet republic.

Both Scotland and Ireland are involved in Nations League play-offs as they look to avoid relegation from the top and second tiers respectively. The Tartan Army face Greece in a two-legged affair while Ireland’s opponents are Bulgaria. Both play away from home on Thursday with Ireland 5/4 to win in Plovdiv and Scotland 29/10 to triumph at the home of Olympiacos.

A fourfold on all British and Irish teams winning pays an enhanced 12/1 thanks to our acca boost feature.

SNOOKER – PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP

A high-quality field travel to Telford this week for the Players Championships with Judd Trump the 5/2 outright favourite to lift the trophy.

With £150,000 in prize money for the winner, plus spots in the upcoming Tour Championship up for grabs, the action should be ferocious as we enter the business end of the season. Defending champion Mark Allen has already been dumped out and with no Ronnie O’Sullivan in the lineup, there are plenty of live chances.

Reigning World Champion Kyren Wilson is 17/4 after despatching Allen, with Mark ‘The Jester From Leicester’ Selby 6/1 in our Players Championship outright odds to secure a 25th ranking title of his career.

The action takes place all week across ITV4 and ITVX and we will have a full range of all your favourite snooker spread betting markets for each match, including Multi-Frames and Highest Match Break. CRICKET – INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE

Cricket spread betting fans will be thrilled as the IPL gets underway this weekend with Kolkata Knight Riders a whopping 9/1 to defend their title. Mumbai Indians (English interest in the form of Reece Topley and Will Jacks) are the narrow 17/4 favourites ahead of Chennai Super Kings (Sam Curran & Jamie Overton) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (Brydon Carse) who are both 9/2.

Our cricket spread betting traders are expecting it to be another bumper year of boundaries with Tournament Sixes available to trade at 1267-1337 and Tournament Fours available to buy or sell at 2222-2322. Last year the respective totals were 1260 and 2174.

There are plenty more tournament-wide markets including Total Run Outs, Highest Individual Score and Lowest All Out score.

The action gets underway on Saturday with KKR 5/6 to get their title defence off to a winning start as they host Royal Challengers Bangalore.
