Another week provides yet more betting opportunities across a range of sports, and as always our traders highlight a few of the biggest sporting events and eye-catching markets in the Bets of the Week blog!

Among the sporting highlights this week is Euro 2024 for football betting, tennis betting from the grass courts in the Wimbledon warm-up events at Halle and Queen's, T20 World Cup for cricket betting, Ascot for horse racing punters, and more.

Make sure you don't miss any of the in-play betting action and keep an eye out for our pre-match and in-play price boosts on the website or our betting app, which you can download in the App Store or Google Play store.

FOOTBALL - EURO 2024

Those looking to bet on football will continue to enjoy the group stage action from Germany as the tournament begins to take shape. We have already seen a shock with Slovakia defeating Belgium on Monday, and punters will be keeping a close eye on forthcoming fixtures throughout the week, starting with Cristiano Ronaldo beginning an incredible sixth Euros campaign with Portugal against Czechia tonight.

In terms of betting angles, the early stages of the tournament have included an unusually high number of early goals, which has been good news for punters selling on our 1st Match Goal spreads. Every match so far has seen at least one goal scored in the first half, with many of those coming within the first 15 minutes. We've also seen the fastest goal in Euros history with Albania's opening-minute strike against defending champions Italy. Will the trend continue?

Aside from price boosts on individual matches, Spreadex offer a massive range of betting options for the tournament, including Tournament Totals, Group Betting, Player Markets, PGM Matchbets, a Euro 2024 Hamper market and more!

Those interested in accumulator bets on Euro 2024 matches can also take advantage of our Acca Boost promotion to boost their betting odds.

RACING - ROYAL ASCOT

For horse racing betting punters, eyes will be squarely on Royal Ascot for the highlight of the Flat racing season in Britain, with five days of top-class action featuring a schedule of 35 races in 2024.

Spreadex have plenty of betting options for every race as well as live streaming on all of the action throughout the week!

As always, tipster Andrew Mount will be offering his insights and daily recommended bets/trades on our daily blog.

TENNIS - ATP HALLE, ATP QUEEN'S & MORE

Tennis spread betting punters will have their eyes firmly set on the grass-court action as Wimbledon edges closer, with this week's events centring on ATP Queen's in London, and ATP Halle in Germany.

We have already seen an ATP record broken this week as Canada's Milos Raonic produced a quite incredible serving performance against Britain's Cam Norrie, hitting 47 aces in his three-set win on Monday. This broke the previous ATP record of 45, set by Croatian giant Ivo Karlovic in 2015.

Several Brits will be in action throughout the week, including Andy Murray, who will look to get back to form ahead of a likely last-ever crack at Wimbledon, and newly-crowned Stuttgart champion Jack Draper, who will look to build on his momentum.

WTA events are also taking place at the same time at WTA Birmingham, where the likes of Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart and Heather Watson will be among the Brits in action.

Be sure to check the Spreadex website and app for all the matches and latest odds for both fixed odds and spread betting.

CRICKET - T20 WORLD CUP

And finally, cricket punters will be eagerly anticipating the Super 8s stage of the T20 World Cup, including the massive match between the only two-time T20WC Winners in England and West Indies.

2012 and 2016 champions West Indies are looking to become the first team to win the men’s T20WC on home soil and finished the first stage as one of just three teams with a perfect 4-0 record following a demolition of fellow Super 8s qualifiers Afghanistan on Monday night.

Defending champions England had a very shaky passage through to the Super 8s after struggling against Scotland and Australia, but know that now is the time to bring their best to the party. With West Indies winning three of the last five matches between the sides, will England be able to make it 3-3 from the last six?

Spreadex have several betting options throughout the tournament aside from individual match betting, with markets such as Tournament Totals and Outright Winner, as well as Team Top Bats and Team Top Bowler.

Be sure to check the Spreadex website and app for all the latest cricket odds for both fixed odds and spread betting.
