All eyes will be on Ascot this week, but there is international football action elsewhere to enjoy with Scotland looking to continue their good form and England Under 21s hoping to be the third group of Young Lions to lift the Euro U21 trophy. State of Origin also features in our bets of the week preview.
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
HORSE RACING – ROYAL ASCOT
One of the biggest betting events of the year is upon us as the great and the good descend on Berkshire for the first day of Royal Ascot. It is the first renewal since the Queen’s passing, and it will also be the last dance for legendary jockey Frankie Dettori.
The Italian once went through the card at the Royal event and there will be plenty of punters putting on Dettori multiples this week. Alongside our excellent fixed odds offering, we will have the usual horse racing spread betting markets available for the five-day extravaganza.

FOOTBALL – SCOTLAND v GEORGIA
Having shocked the world when they beat Spain in March at Hampden Park, Scotland dug out a result away in Norway at the weekend to remain top of their qualifying group. They needed late goals to come from behind in Oslo after an Erling Haaland penalty had put the hosts ahead, but tonight’s assignment against Georgia looks much more straightforward.
Scotland are 1.05-1.25 on the Supremacy spread with Total Goals at 2.45-2.65 and Bookings priced at 40-44. Scott McTominay has been in fine goalscoring touch for his country lately and the Manchester United midfielder is 17/2 to open the scoring tonight and he is 16/5 to score at anytime.
RUGBY LEAGUE – QUEENSLAND v NEW SOUTH WALES
After bagging a win in neutral Adelaide, Queensland can wrap up another State Of Origin series when they face New South Wales on home soil tomorrow. The Maroons are favoured at 5-8 on the Supremacy spread whilst the hosts are 1/2 to win in normal time and 5/6 to win with a -5.5 handicap.
The pressure is certainly on New South Wales and coach Brad Fittler this week and they will be looking for a big performance. The Blues are 15/8 to keep the series alive and their handicap of +5.5 is available to back at 19/20.
FOOTBALL – U21 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Under-21 Euros get underway tomorrow evening and fans will have the chance to watch up and coming stars like the sought after Gabriel Veiga of Spain, Germany’s teen sensation Youssoufa Moukoko and the Netherlands’ Ryan Gravenberch who with 11 senior caps has played more for the senior side than the Under-21s.
It is a reasonably tight betting heat in the outright market with Spain and France 4/1 joint favourites and England half a point behind at 9/2. Defending champions Germany are 6/1 whilst the Netherlands and Italy are both 9/1 shots.
England are in a group with Germany, Israel and Thursday evening’s opponents Czech Republic and the Young Lions are 4/7 to get off to a winning start with the Supremacy at 0.9-1.1. Lee Carsley can call upon Premier League stars like Morgan Gibbs White and Anthony Gordon whilst Cameron Archer excelled in the Championship last season and the Total Goals spread for the England game is 2.65-2.85.
