Bets Of The Week

The Cheltenham Festival may well have been and gone but there is plenty of punting action this week. From the darts to the golf and everything in between, at Spreadex, we have you covered.

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

FOOTBALL – EURO 2024 QUALIFIERS

The Euro 2024 Qualifiers get underway this week with England looking to record an away win in Italy for the first time since the 1960s on Thursday evening. A short hop up the road, Northern Ireland are heavy favourites to beat San Marino whilst, on Saturday, Scotland get their campaign underway with a home tie against Cyprus, and 5/1 underdogs Wales head to Croatia to round off the day.

A £10 fourfold on the home nations would return £198.29 if they all were to collect three points in their opening matches.

DARTS – PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League heads to Newcastle on Thursday evening where hometown hero Chris Dobey will play Michael Smith in the quarter-finals. The other match-ups in the last eight see Michael van Gerwen play Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall play Dimitri Van Den Bergh and we have an all-Welsh affair with Gerwyn Price’s clash against Johnny Clayton.

Having been in superb form this year, MVG is the 11/10 favourite to be crowned the Premier League champion with Price at 3/1 and Ally Pally hero Smith available at 7/2.

MIDWEEK RACING

The dust may well just be settling on another Cheltenham Festival but there is plenty of racing to get stuck into this week including Friday night’s meeting at Newcastle where Spreadex have sponsored three of the races.

The weekend sees the ITV cameras head to Newbury and Kelso but there is plenty of action on the turf (and tapeta!) before then. Check out our odds on all UK, Irish, and international racing on our racing homepage, including daily specials and our new ‘Lengthen The Odds’ feature.

GOLF – WGC MATCHPLAY

With the Masters looming around the corner, the great and the good of the golfing world descend on the Austin Country Club for the 24th and final WGC Matchplay. Runner-up in 2021 and the winner last year, Scottie Sheffler is a standout favourite at 8/1. The New Jersey native is in superb form having won two events this year, including the Players Championship last time out.

A pair of Europeans come next in the betting with Jon Rahm at 10/1 and Rory McIlroy at 14/1. Kevin Kisner, the winner in 2019 and second last year, is a big priced outsider at 100/1 and may tempt some each way support.

Spreadex are playing 1/4 odds on the top four and you can check out our WGC Matchplay prices here.
