Our online betting traders are braced for a flurry of activity this week with football taking centre stage both at home and across Europe. For cricket spread betting punters, there is the deciding Test to look forward to, whilst we will have plenty of darts betting markets available on the European Championships starting on Thursday.
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
Five British sides are in Champions League action this week and – according to the odds at least – we could be looking at four wins. Arsenal are 13/20 to beat Shakhtar Donetsk in north London, Manchester City are 1/18 to beat Sparta Prague, whilst Villa are 13/20 to beat Serie A’s surprise package from last season, Bologna. Liverpool travel to eastern Germany where they are 4/5 shots to get past Leipzig and finally Celtic may have their work cut out in Bergamo where they are 5/1 to beat Atalanta.
In the Europa League, Rangers and Tottenham are both 2/5 to win at home against Steaua Bucharest and AZ Alkmaar respectively, with Manchester United 13/10 to win on the road against Fenerbahce.
Finally, the Conference League sees Hearts made 2/1 shots to beat Cypriot outfit Omonia, TNS are 7/4 in their clash with Kazakh outfit Astana and Chelsea are priced at 6/11 to win away at Panathinaikos. We also have a cross-border clash to look forward to as Larne welcome Shamrock Rovers to Inver Park.
There is a full coupon of EFL action this midweek as well with principal partners Sunderland travelling to face Luton tomorrow. With Burnley also in action tomorrow, Leeds United could go top of the league tonight with a win over partner club Watford at Elland Road.

After a roaring comeback from Pakistan in the second Test in Multan, attention turns to Rawalpindi where Pakistan will be hoping to record their first home serries win since beating South Africa in 2021.
With all 20 of England’s wickets falling to spinners Sajid Khan and Noman Ali last time out, Pakistan have desperately been trying to create a turning surface on a pitch more well known for its batter friendly conditions.
England certainly think the host’s technique of using patio heaters, fans and windbreaks to bake the pitch will bear fruit as three spinners have been selected – Rehan Ahmed joins Jack Leach and Shoaib Bashir, leaving Gus Atkinson as the only specialist pace bowler.
In terms of the cricket betting odds for this one, England are 19/20 favourites, Pakistan can be backed at 7/5 and the draw is 6/1. There will also be plenty of cricket spread betting options available closer to play beginning at 6am UK time on Thursday.
The European Championships return to Dortmund this weekend, with a record prize pool of £600k on offer (the winner lands a cool £120k) and Luke Littler is the 14/5 favourite.
The man from Cheshire was beaten in the semi-finals of the Czech Open last weekend, but he recorded averages of over 110 in three of his matches before bowing out to Luke Humphries, where he still hit a 106.73 average in a 7-4 defeat.
Humphries is rated as the main challenger to Littler with the Leeds United fan 7/2 to taste success in Germany having been beaten in the final of the World Grand Prix a few weeks ago.
The man who defeated Humphries in the final was Mike De Decker and he is 22/1 to land his second Premier Event title. Other notable players include defending champion Peter Wright who is 40/1, English world champio0ns Rob Cross and Michael Smith who are both priced up at 20/1, with Gary Anderson the only other player at a single figure price. You can back the Flying Scotsman to score in Dortmund at 8/1.
