The nights are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner. We have just under two weeks until the greatest show on turf gets underway, but before then we have marked your card for the action taking place over the next few days.
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
The Premier League is back this week but is there actually much to get excited about? Southampton (1/1000), Leicester (1/500), and Ipswich (1/25) all look as good as down in our Premier League relegation odds.
At the other end of the table, Liverpool are 1/28 in the Premier league winner betting market with the forecast with Liverpool first and Arsenal second priced at 1/8.
All of that leaves us scrabbling for something of a narrative which may well mean the best football betting heat this week comes not from one of the traditional glamour fixtures, but an all-south coast affair between Brighton and Bournemouth.
Just four points separate Manchester City in fourth and Brighton in ninth and with five Champions League places on offer, there are plenty of sides – including Bournemouth – well in the mix with 12 matches to go.
The pair meet at the Amex with Brighton 21/20 favourites to collect three points and keep their European push alive. Watching Manchester United this season has been a source of great joy to many who revel in their downfall, but joy has been thin on the ground for their legion of fans this term.
They host Ipswich Town tomorrow with Ruben Amorim’s side given a 1.05-1.25 start on our Supremacy spread betting market. Also tomorrow, Liverpool are 1/2 favourites to beat Newcastle United at Anfield, with Manchester City travelling to Tottenham where Total Goals can be traded at 3.7-3.9.

The ICC Champions Trophy continues apace this week and England need a win tomorrow against Afghanistan if they are to have any chance of lifting the trophy.
There has been no little controversy surrounding the Afghan’s involvement in the tournament but England have said they will play them and they have been installed as 3/10 favourites to do so.
Having been beaten by five wickets in their opening match by Australia, there will be a change to the bowling attack with Jamie Overton likely to come in from the injured Brydon Carse with the Durham seamer out for the remainder of the tournament.
In our cricket spread betting Supremacy market, England have been given a 34-44 start in a market where one point is awarded per run won by and ten points per wicket won by. So if England won by five runs the spread would settle at five If they won by six wickets, the market would settle at 60. As this is a Supremacy spread, there can be a negative makeup and an Afghanistan win by seven runs would see the spread settle at -7.
In our outright markets, India are the 5/4 favourites with Tasman rivals Australia and New Zealand priced up at 3/1 and 4/1 respectively.
With the Cheltenham Festival looming large, our racing traders are braced for a flurry of online betting activity over the next few weeks.
Navan hosts a Grade 3 Novices’ Chase on Saturday, but before then, there is plenty of action to enjoy with both a number of national hunt and all-weather meetings taking place across the country.
At Spreadex we have racecards to give you all the form and info before placing a bet and we now also offer Lengthen The Odds on every race. If you are looking a bit further down the line, we have antepost markets for all of the races at Cheltenham, while we have just priced up the Prestbury Cup, Top Trainer and Top Jockey (spoiler alert, it isn’t good news for the home nation!)
