There are key clashes at the top and bottom of the Premier League this week whilst across the Irish Sea the major betting event is the Punchestown Festival which is littered with Grade 1 races and some world class runners. Elsewhere, the World Championship continues to entertain fans and punters alike at the Crucible with the final eight battling it out on the baize.
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
FOOTBALL – MANCHESTER CITY v ARSENAL
There is a mammoth game at the top of the Premier League this week as Arsenal travel to Manchester City looking to take a massive step closer to lifting their first title since the Arsene Wenger era. The Gunners travel to the Etihad having drawn their last three matches and only an away win – priced at 19/4 – would keep the title in Arsenal’s hands.
A draw on Wednesday is probably a better result for City than the Gunners at 7/2 but a home win looks likeliest at 3/5.
Our traders fancy there to be goals in this one with the Total Goals spread at 2.95-3.15 whilst the Total Goal Minutes spread is 151-161.

FOOTBALL – LEEDS UNITED v LEICESTER CITY
From a season defining game at the top of the league to one at the bottom as Leicester travel to Elland Road this evening as 21/10 outsiders. The Foxes claimed their first victory under Dean Smith when they came back against Wolves on Saturday whilst Leeds lost their third game in a row with an insipid performance against Fulham.
The hosts are available to back at 7/5 with the draw priced at 13/5. We have some fixed odds boosts for this evening with Patrick Bamford 6/4 to score anytime from 13/10 whilst a home win with both sides scoring can be backed at 15/4 from 3/1.
Both sides have scored in Leeds’ last seven league matches whilst the same run has also seen over 2.5 goals land in every match. BTTS is priced at 8/13 this evening with over 2.5 goals at 8/11 and BTTS and over 2.5 goals available at 19/20 on our Bet Builder function.
RACING – PUNCHESTOWN FESTIVAL
One of the highlights of the Irish racing calendar is upon us as the Punchestown Festival gets underway this afternoon with three Grade 1s headlining the card. Facile Vega and Enurgumene are odds on favourites to win the Novices Hurdle and Champion Chase respectively, but the Novice Chase looks like a more open betting heat.
Journey With Me is the 2/1 favourite for that race with Classic Getaway 3/1, Sir Gerhard 10/3 and Appreciate It priced at 7/2.
Later in the week, Galpin Des Champs will go for Punchestown Gold Cup glory whilst after ending a break of nearly two years earlier this month, Monkfish will look to land the Stayers Hurdle on Thursday.
SNOOKER – WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Championship quarter finals get underway today at the Crucible with Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Allen both 1/4 favourites to beat Jak Jones and Luca Brecel respectively. Later on in the day, John Higgins, who stunningly despatched Kyren Wilson in the previous round is 11/10 for his match with 8/11 favourite Mark Selby whilst China’s sole remaining representative Si Jiahui is 6/5 to beat Anthony McGill.
In the outright market, The Rocket is a relatively strong favourite at 13/8 whilst Mark Selby and Mark Allen are both priced at 9/2. We are paying 1/3 the odds on the top 2 places if you fancy an outright selection at a bigger price.
