In this feature Spreadex Sports look at five bets/markets to look out for in the week ahead. This week, we will look at the latest football, cricket, and NBA action.
Note – the below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
FOOTBALL
1. Liverpool take on Ajax in Amsterdam on Wednesday night, looking to bounce back from their shock league defeat to Nottingham Forest at the weekend, and all but secure their place in the knockout stages. Their last group fixture was of course the 7-1 demolition of Rangers, which was in large part due to Mohamed Salah's quickfire hat-trick in Glasgow. The Egyptian hasn't been up to his high standards with his form so far this season in the league but will hope to continue his scoring form in Europe. We have his Total Goal Minutes available at 31 - 34, his Super Mega Minutes at 50 - 58, and his Anytime Goalscorer fixed odds price has been BOOSTED from 87/100 to evens!
2. We have a 'Spreadex Derby' on Tuesday night at Norwich take on Burnley, who staged a huge comeback victory over Sunderland at the weekend, overcoming a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 4-2 and remain in the top three. The Canaries, meanwhile, are still struggling to shake off their recent poor form and are still winless in their last five, although drew 2-2 with Sheffield Utd at the weekend. The last meeting between these sides at Turf Moor ended in a 0-0 stalemate - will the two sides cancel each other out again here? 0-0 is available on the fixed odds at 8/1, while we have several price boosts also available. Burnley's Jay Rodriguez to score anytime has been BOOSTED from 6/5 to 7/5, while Norwich's Teemu Pukki has been BOOSTED from 13/8 to 19/10!
3. Erling Haaland and Man City travel to Germany to take on Dortmund in the Champions League, and the Norwegian will once again look to haunt his former side after netting at the Etihad in the reverse fixture. After netting another brace at the weekend, can he one-up that and score his fourth hat-trick of the season here? He is available at 9/1 to do so here.
Basketball (NBA)
4. There is plenty of action from the NBA throughout the entire week this week, with matches from the Eastern Conference. Early season leaders Milwaukee Bucks take on the New York Knicks, while Boston Celtics take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in a battle of second against third. Be sure to check out all of our match markets, as well as our Group of Games and outright markets!
CRICKET
5. This week sees more action from the T20 World Cup, including England v Ireland, Pakistan v Zimbabwe, and South Africa v Pakistan. Who will be able to grab victories? Make sure to check out our pre-match and in-play markets!
