Those looking for football betting this week will have a keen eye on the EFL Cup matches, including cup holders Manchester United taking on Crystal Palace and Manchester City taking on Newcastle in an all-Premier League affair.

In terms of cricket betting, England take on Ireland in the 3rd ODI as we edge closer to the 2023 Cricket World Cup which begins next week.

Tennis spread betting fans will be able to enjoy the ATP Beijing tournament, while Rugby Union spread betting fans have the latest 2023 Rugby World Cup matches to enjoy. Also, golf punters will be looking forward to the beginning of the Ryder Cup.

The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

FOOTBALL - EFL CUP

Spreadex will have plenty of betting options including pre-match fixed odds betting price boosts, as well as in-play betting available for the EFL Cup matches on both our website and betting app.

Man Utd will be eager to have a good start in the competition they won last season but will need to overcome the challenge of Premier League side Crystal Palace here.

Another marquee matchup will be a potential blockbuster between Man City and Newcastle at St James' Park. City defeated Newcastle in the Premier League a few weeks ago in a tight 1-0 victory - can the Magpies turn the tables here? The betting odds are fairly even with Newcastle at 13/8 and City at 31/20.

There is also a 'Spreadex Derby' to look forward to as Blackburn take on Cardiff. You can use our Bet Builder feature to build your own custom bet including markets like Correct Score, Team Specials and Handicap Result!

Aside from fixed odds, we have a range of spread markets available including our aggregate markets, where you can bet on totals from all the matches. These markets include Total Goals, Fastest Goal, Total Away Goal Minutes and more.

For those looking for other types of bets such as an Accumulator bet, you can take advantage of our Acca Boost offer where you can boost your winnings by up to 75%. Click here for more information.

RUGBY UNION - RUGBY WORLD CUP

For those looking for Rugby spread betting, Spreadex is the place for buying bets or selling bets on this week's fixtures, which include New Zealand taking on Italy and South Africa taking on Tonga.

Friday's meeting between the All Blacks and the Italians has significance as New Zealand are still playing catch-up after their opening match defeat to France. They sit third in the group behind the tournament hosts and the Italians, but they will go into this one with maximum confidence knowing they have beaten gli Azzurri in all nine meetings since 1987.

This match-up also took place in the last France-hosted World Cup in 2007, and the All Blacks won 76-14. That 62-point supremacy was hugely dominant, and the odds of the same happening here currently stands at 28/1 under our 'New Zealand by 61-65' Winning Margin market. Will the same occur here? Alternatively, if you fancy a major shock, Italy's match odds are at a huge 22/1.

GOLF - RYDER CUP

The Ryder Cup begins this Friday and Spreadex will have lots of betting options to choose from. These include Outright Markets, Session Markets, Top Points Scorer markets and more. Europe begin as very narrow favourites ahead of the USA, at a fixed odds price of 10/11 with USA at 11/10. A tie is available at 10/1.

CRICKET - ONE DAY INTERNATIONALS

Finally, those looking for cricket spread betting will have two ODIs to enjoy this week. First up, England take on Ireland in Bristol, and Australia take on India on Wednesday.

England are heavily favoured to get another victory, but several interesting statistics may come into focus. England last played Ireland in Bristol in May 2017. They bowled them out for 126 and won by seven wickets.

Also, the highest score in this ground is 369/9, scored by England against the West Indies in 2017. Could the bet of the day be for England to match or beat those records?
