CRICKET - ENGLAND v AUSTRALIA 2ND TEST

The long-awaited Men's 2023 Ashes series got underway last week in dramatic fashion with Australia getting a famous victory on the final day at Edgbaston.

On Wednesday we head to Lords with England looking to bounce back and level the series and we have taken a look at some of the key markets ahead of the action.

Joe Root was in fine form in the opening test scoring 164 over the course of his two innings which included a 118* on the opening day. The Yorkshire-born batter will be looking to add to his scintillating form at Lords and we are offering a spread of 95-103 on Root Runs and 144-159 on Root Super Mega Runs.

For the Aussies, the star performer in the first test with the bat was undoubtedly Usman Khawaja, whose 206 runs over his two innings was the main instigator for the visitor’s famous win. At Lords, we are offering a spread of 72-79 on Khawaja Runs and 129-139 on Khawaja Super Mega Runs.

FOOTBALL - ENGLAND U21 v GERMANY U21

The Young Lions have got off to a perfect start in their Euro U21 group with 2-0 victories over both Israel and the Czech Republic leaving them top of Group C. Germany head into tomorrow’s game needing a victory and for the Czech Republic to drop points against Israel to give them any chance of progressing to the knockouts.

England are priced at 13/8 to continue their 100% record and end the group stage with three wins from three games and are priced at 4/1 To Win To Nil. However, there may be value in Germany to win at 7/5 with the Germans desperate for a victory and Carsley likely to rest several starters with England’s top spot albeit confirmed.

There are also a number of spread markets to keep an eye on with the Total Goals spread being 2.7-2.9 while Total Goal Minutes is 138-148.

TENNIS – WIMBLEDON

Wimbledon qualifiers are now underway with hundreds of tennis players looking to reach the main draw with tennis greats such as Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

With the main draw getting underway on the 3rd July we are taking a look at some of the favourites in the outright market.

Djokovic is the favourite to go all the way and win his eighth Wimbledon title, which would see him level Roger Feder’s all-time record and is priced at 8/11. The main threat to Djokovic is the current world number one in Carlos Alcaraz who is currently priced at 7/2. The young Spaniard is in fine form and has just come off the back of his first ATP title win on grass.

Last year's finalist and arguably tennis’ most controversial player, Nick Kyrgios returns to Wimbledon this year looking to go one step further than last year's effort and is priced at 22/1.

British number one Cameron Norrie is priced at 66/1 to become the first Brit to win the tournament since Murray in 2016 whereas Murray is priced at 40/1 to repeat his heroics.
