Bets Of The Week

bets-of-the-week-210223-landing-page-header

This week sees the FA Cup take centre stage in midweek, with newly-crowned Carabao Cup winners Man Utd looking to continue their charge to potentially another domestic trophy as they host West Ham at Old Trafford!

The Red Devils are also in league action at the weekend as they take on Liverpool in a blockbuster derby fixture, while Arsenal take on Everton in midweek followed by Bournemouth at the weekend, and Man City take on Newcastle in the latest round of fixtures in an increasingly exciting title race. Will there be twists and turns this week?

There is a host of cricket action to look forward to, including the 1st ODI between Bangladesh and England, and Test matches between South Africa and Windies, and India taking on Australia.

There is plenty of tennis action too with ATP 500 events in Acapulco, Mexico, and in Dubai at the Duty Free Open, where Novak Djokovic makes his return to action after clinching the Australian Open title last month.

As always, we look at some of the highlights which may be of interest to punters!

The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation.

FOOTBALL – fa cup fifth round

Which Premier League sides will progress into the FA Cup quarter-finals?

The FA Cup 5th round fixtures feature Premier League sides in seven of the eight fixtures, with two all-PL matches as Leeds take on Fulham and Man Utd take on West Ham. In the five matches where only one Premier League side is involved in each, you can back a five-fold acca of Man City, Southampton, Leicester, Brighton and Spurs all to win at 5/1!

We have a range of special spreads markets ahead of the matches, including group markets. For example, our Total Goal Mins market for the FA Cup 5th Round Group aggregates all of the goal minutes in all of the fixtures, while our Bankers market focuses on Southampton, Burnley and Man City - 25 points are awarded for each of these teams that win, along with an extra 25 if all three win (90 mins only). The pre-match spread stands at 69 - 73.

Man Utd to continue cup form after Carabao Cup win? Can West Ham exploit any hangover from the Red Devils?

Utd return to action at Old Trafford on Wednesday and will surely be buoyed by their success in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, but there is the risk of burnout and with Erik ten Hag's side facing a crucial league match at Anfield on Sunday, he may be tempted to field a weakened side here. Although Old Trafford has been a fortress for the Red Devils this season, West Ham will likely look at this match as a free swing to potentially extend their FA Cup adventure.

We have several BOOSTS for the match, including:

Rashford to Score Anytime - 11/10 > 13/10

Antonio to Score Anytime - 17/5 > 17/4

BTTS & Man Utd to Win - 23/10 > 27/10

Will there be another twist in the title race?

All three of the league's protagonists will be in action this weekend as Arsenal host Bournemouth, Man City take on Newcastle at the Etihad and Man Utd take on Liverpool in a huge derby.

Will all three sides get the three points that may prove so vital in the title race? You can back a treble acca for Arsenal, City and Utd all to win at 5/1! If you were to back the opposite and all three to lose, you could get this treble at a massive 260/1!

CRICKET – BANGLADESH V ENGLAND 1ST ODI

England to bounce back with victory after historic defeat to New Zealand?

After New Zealand became only the fourth team in Test history to win a match after being made to follow on as they snatched a dramatic one-run win over England on the final day of the second Test in Wellington, England will look to bounce back when they take on Bangladesh in the 1st ODI. They are significant favourites to do so, at 2/5 on the fixed odds and with a spread of 65.2 - 71.5. On the Winner & Points Margin spread, England are favoured at 23 - 33.

In terms of our specials and other markets, England Sixes are at a spread of 5.7 - 6.3, Total Wides are at 13.3 - 14.3, and Ton or Bust at 97 - 112.

In the batsman markets, Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler are jointly-favoured to be England's Top Batter.

Dominant Djokovic to dismantle Machac on way to Dubai title?

Novak Djokovic grabbed his 22nd Grand Slam title with yet another victory at the Australian Open, and after a period of rest will resume his season at the Dubai Open, a competition that he has won five times before. With the way the Serb has been playing over the last six months or so, he goes into most tournaments as an overwhelming favourite and that is no different here as he kicks off his campaign by facing young Czech Tomas Machac. The Djo/Mac Pts Supremacy pre-match spread stands at 14 - 18.

With the dominant performances that Djokovic has been putting up - he lost only one set in his title run Down Under - punters may find value in the Point Supremacy market for Djokovic matches. In his last match (the Aus Open final win v Tsitsipas), Djokovic won 18 more points than his opponent. In the match before that, the supremacy stood at 32 points, and in the match before that stood at 30.

Will the World Number One go all the way this week and grab a sixth Dubai title in dominant fashion?
