International football is the pick of the midweek action ahead of a weekend that could be pivotal in the race for the Premier League title and the battle to avoid the drop. There is also plenty of midweek racing, darts, rugby league, and tennis going on and we have previewed the bets of the week below.

The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

FOOTBALL – EURO 2024 QUALIFIERS

There are two Home Nations sides in action this evening as Wales welcome Latvia to Cardiff and Scotland face their toughest test of the campaign at Hampden when they play Spain.

Starting with the Welsh, who after managing an impressive 1-1 draw away in Croatia on Saturday,  are 2/9 favourites to win against their Baltic opponents with the supremacy spread at 1.7-1.9. Bournemouth’s Kieffer Moore has been boosted to 11/10 to score this evening whilst a Wales win and both sides to score can be backed at 3/1.

Up in Glasgow, Scotland are 19/4 outsiders, with Spain available at 4/6 and the draw priced at 14/5. In just one of Spain’s, last 11 matches have La Rioja been shown two or more cards and the spread on booking points for this evening is 37-41 whilst cross-bookings is 365-425.

DARTS – PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League is gearing up for its first continental trip of the season on Thursday when the eight players will head to the 17,000 capacity Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. Gerwyn Price has won the last two events and was a resounding winner over Michael van Gerwen in Newcastle as he won the final 6-1.

The Iceman is 7/2 to make it a hat trick this week with MVG the 12/5 favourite. At 9/2 and 15/2, Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall are the only other players at single figure prices.

FOOTBALL – BURNLEY v SUNDERLAND

Two of our partner clubs are in action this Friday when Burnley take on Sunderland at Turf Moor. The Clarets need 17 points from their last nine games to break through the 100-point barrier (our current point spread is 99-100) and they face a Sunderland side who have seen their play-off push fall away in recent weeks.

Burnley came from behind to win 4-2 at the Stadium of Light earlier this season and they are 1/2 to take all three points, with Sunderland at 6/1 and the draw available at 7/2. A repeat six-goal thriller would be good news for buyers on the total goals spread which is currently 2.65-2.85.

MIDWEEK RACING

One of the big betting races of the year takes place at Doncaster on Saturday as a big field head to post for the Lincoln Handicap, the traditional curtain raiser for the flat season.

Before then though, there is plenty of midweek jumps action from Taunton to Hexham and everywhere in between. There is also action over the all-weather at Wolverhampton, Lingfield and Newcastle where Spreadex will be sponsoring races across all three tracks.
