The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
TENNIS – FRENCH OPEN
Rafael Nadal may well be absent with injury, but Spain has a new hope on clay with young sensation Carlos Alcaraz the 8/5 favourite to win the men’s side of the draw at Roland Garros. As has been the case in recent years a strong contingent of Eastern Europeans head the betting in the women’s side of the draw with Poland’s Iga Swiatek a shade of odds-on at 19/20 to defend her title. Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina are ranked as the main challengers at 9/2 and 7/1 respectively.
If you prefer a spreads-based approach then we have 60-40-20-10-5 outright markets available for both sides of the draw whilst there are a wide range of spread betting markets available for each match of the tournament You can find out more about how to spread bet on tennis with our handy guide.

RUGBY LEAGUE – NEW SOUTH WALES v QUEENSLAND
Wednesday sees one of sport’s greatest rivalries renewed as New South Wales and Queensland renew hostilities with the first State of Origin clash of 2023. Queensland were surprise series winners last year, but they head into Wednesday as 0-3 underdogs on the Supremacy spread (11/10 to win inside 80 minutes on the fixed odds side).
There are some other spread that will draw attention with Total Tries at 6.4-6.8 and Total Points at 36-39. Meanwhile, the Match Performance spread which awards 10 points per try or red card and five points for every yellow card or successful penalty/conversion kicked is currently priced at 97-102.
CRICKET – ENGLAND v IRELAND
Injuries are mounting up for the English bowling attack at the worst possible time with Ben Stokes’ side facing Ireland on Thursday at Lords’. They should have too much for their rivals from across the Irish Sea and a spread of 22.3-23.7 in the 25:10 market (25 points for a win, 10 points for a draw) underlines their expected superiority.
The action gets underway at 11am on Thursday and we will have a full range of both spread betting and fixed odds markets live ahead of play getting underway at the home of cricket.
Australia are also in Test match action this week as they play India in the final of the World Test Championship at the Oval with India priced at 7/4, the draw 4/1, and Australia at 19/20.
FOOTBALL – ENGLAND U20 v ITALY U20
Spearheaded by Dominics Solanke and Calvert-Lewin, England were under-20 world champions in 2017 and a new generation is trying to bring the trophy back from Argentina this summer. Having topped their group with seven points they will face Italy in the round of 16 on Thursday evening.
The Young Lions are 11/10 favourites to win the match and are 4/7 to make the last eight against an Italy side who won two and lost one of their group matches. In the spread markets, Total Goals is priced up at 2.3-2.5 and there are some interesting angles if you think the match will go all the way to penalties.
You can back Total Penalties Taken at 1.5-1.7 whilst the X-Penalties spread (England shootout penalties taken multiplied by Italy’s total) is set at 4-6. Both markets will settle at zero if the match does not go to a shoot-out.
