watford V SUNDERLAND, saturday 3PM
The Black Cats are on the road yet again as they visit the Hornets' nest, but will do so in great confidence after a morale-boosting 3-0 victory against Reading last time out, moving Tony Mowbray's team into the top 6. Watford have been hit and miss so far, and yet to really showcase why they were among the pre-season favourites for promotion.
However, the home side come into the match as favourites, with a Goal Supremacy spread of Watford/Sunderland 0.4 - 0.6. The visitors are available at 29/10 on the fixed odds, with the draw at 5/2 and Watford at 11/10.
After Patrick Roberts' double against Reading, can he ride that wave of momentum and get on the scoresheet again here? He is 8/1 to score first or last, 3/1 to score anytime, and has a Player Goal Minutes spread of 10 - 13.
BURNLEY v bristol city, saturday 3PM
The Clarets continued their unbeaten run in midweek, but will be disappointed with another case of dropping two points from a winning position, ultimately drawing 1-1 with Preston to make it back-to-back 1-1 draws. Bristol City fought hard against Norwich, falling to a narrow 3-2 defeat, but will still come into this one with some confidence.
The home side begin as significant favourites, at 13/20 on the fixed odds and with a Goal Supremacy of 0.85 - 1.05. Bristol City are at 17/4 to grab three points, while a third draw in a row for Burnley is at 3/1. The last five meetings between these sides have seen Burnley win all five, so they will surely be confident of another win here.
The last Championship meeting at Turf Moor ended 4-0 to the home side, and that result can be backed here at 18/1.
huddersfield V cardiff, saturday 3pm
Huddersfield continued their hugely disappointing run of form with yet another defeat in midweek, and they will be hopeful that they can make home advantage count this time around to secure a huge three points against Cardiff, who ended their own run of bad form in the last matchday.
Spreadex do have the home side as very slight pre-match favourites, at -0.1 - 0.1, at 13/8 on the fixed odds with the draw at 9/4 and Cardiff at 9/5. Total Goals are available at 2.25 - 2.45, with Total Goal Minutes at 114 - 124.
One silver lining for the home side is that they managed to beat Cardiff 2-1 at this ground in the Championship last season, and would hope to repeat that here. You can back the Terriers to win 2-1 at 17/2 on the fixed odds.
NORWICH V west brom, saturday 3PM
Another Spreadex derby takes place at Carrow Road as the high-flying Canaries look to continue their winning run against the visiting West Brom, who suffered a hugely disappointing 3-2 defeat to Birmingham in midweek.
Spreadex expect a fairly tight match nonetheless, and have the home side pre-match favourites to make it seven wins in a row at 6/5, with West Brom at 9/4 and the draw 5/2. On the spread betting Goal Supremacy market this translates to Norwich/West Brom 0.2 – 0.4.
The last five meetings between the sides have been split with two wins apiece and a draw - with that particular result being 1-1 and in the most recent meeting between the sides. Will there be a repeat here and will West Brom end the Canaries streak? A 1-1 draw can be backed at 11/2 on the fixed odds.
