Spread Bets Of The Day
England play in their 1st ODI since the Cricket World Cup final, Sampordia host Napoli and Hamburg continue to chase promotion – it’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. South Africa v England 1st ODI – England/South Africa Supremacy, 14-24So confident are England heading into Tuesday’s ODI in South Africa – their first since the dramatic World Cup final in 2019 – that they are resting Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler. The visitors are probably right to be feeling a bit cocky. Their heavy 1st Test loss in Centurion clearly unlocked something in England – after that defeat they took things to another level, winning the 2nd, 3rd and 4th by 189 runs, an innings and 53 runs and 190 runs respectively. Like England, South Africa haven’t played an ODI since the World Cup, where they won 3 and lost 5. In fact, the tournament’s curtain raiser was between these two sides at the Oval, with the eventual champions winning by 104 runs. Tuesday might not see quite as large a deficit – Spreadex are offering an England/South Africa Supremacy spread of 13-23, where its 1 point per run or 10 points per wicket won by. 2. Sampordia v Napoli – Bookings, 50-54After earning a silver Serie A medal in 2018/19, this season has been a bitter disappointment for Napoli. Currently they have half of Juventus’s 54 points, and at best will jump up to 9th with a win on Monday night. However, they did at least beat Juve last weekend, ending a 3-game losing streak in style. As for Sampordia, they’re lurking just above the relegation zone, though could create a 7 point buffer with a win. More notable is there disciplinary record – in their last 5 league fixtures they’ve averaged 42 bookings point a game, driven higher by red cards for Gianluca Caprari and Julian Chabot. Will things be just as spicy on Monday night? Spreadex are offering a rather large Bookings spread of 50-54. 3. Bochum v Hamburg – Total Goals, 2.9-3.1Gunning to regain their place in the Bundesliga, Hamburg sit in 3rd place in Germany’s 2nd division – they’ll jump to 2nd with a win over Bochum on Monday night, leaving them 1 point short of Arminia Bielefeld in 1st. The Red Shorts are also the league’s top scoring side, with 40 goals in 19 games. With Bochum – lurking in the relegation zone – conceding 36 in as many games, the hosts could be in for a hammering. Then again, last time they met it ended up only 1-0 to Hamburg. Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 2.9-3.1. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
