Spread Bets Of The Day
Nick Kyrgios, Rafa Nadal, Roger Federer and Serena Williams all feature in a Wimbledon-heavy Spread Bets of the Day! 1. Nick Kyrgios vs Rafael Nadal – Kyrgios 3-2, 5.8-13.4Now this is an interesting match-up. Nick Kyrgios is one of the most unpredictable players around, a trait evidenced in his 1st round 5-setter against fellow Aussie Jordan Thompson. The 24-year old won the 1st and 3rd sets thanks to tiebreaks, the latter by 12-10, while losing the 2nd and 4th 6-3 and 6-0. The 5th saw him come back strong, besting his friend 6-1. Nadal, meanwhile, may have breezed past Yuichi Sugita in the 1st round, but he has a patchy record at Wimbledon this decade, last year’s semi-final appearance coming after 6 years of early exits. It isn’t out of the realms of possibility, then, that the younger man could win on Thursday, with Spreadex offering a Kyrgios 3-2 binary spread of 5.8-13.4. 2. Jay Clarke vs Roger Federer – Clarke to win match, 0.1-3.5It took some time for Roger Federer to settle into his match against Lloyd Harris, the Swiss superman losing the 1st set 6-3. Yet that seemed to be the wake-up call he needed. He commenced to blow away Harris 6-1 6-2 6-2, setting up a 2nd round tie against British wild card Jay Clarke. This kind of mismatched pairing seems like a forgone conclusion. So much so that Federer is at a binary to win spread of 96.5-99.9. That arguably makes the prospect of a colossal upset all the more appealing, with Clarke at a binary to win match spread of 0.1-3.5. 3. Serena Williams vs Kaja Juvan – Williams/Juvan Points Supremacy, 13-17Though she was pushed harder than she would have liked against Giulia Gatto-Monticone in the 2nd set, the 1st round tie was largely business as usual for Andy Murray’s new mixed doubles partner Serena Williams. Will it be more of the same against Slovenia’s Kaja Juvan? It would appear so, with Spreadex offering a Williams/Juvan Points Supremacy spread of 13-17. 4. Salford Red Devils vs Huddersfield Giants – Niall Evalds SMM, 68-73The Giants could do with a win on Thursday, if just to put a bit more distance between them and bottom place London Broncos. The only thing separating the 2 sides is Huddersfield’s superior points difference, admittedly a difference that stretches to 90 points. Sadly for them they are facing the league’s 2nd most prolific try scorer in Salford’s Niall Evalds. The Red Devil heads into the AJ Bell Stadium at an Evalds SMM spread of 68-73. 5. NSI Runavik vs Ballymena – Match to be drawn, 22.2-27.8Aiming to reach the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League, NIFL Premiership runners-up Ballymena travel to the Faroe Islands this Thursday with a 2-0 lead over NSI Runavik. That could mean they sit back in Toftir, with Spreadex offering a Match to be drawn binary of 22.2-27.8. And remember, you can stream the game live on Spreadex.com!
