Spread Bets Of The Day
England chase a first Six Nations win in Scotland, Wales and Ireland face-off in Dublin, and West Ham make the daunting trip to Man City – it’s the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Scotland v England – England/Scotland (h) Point Supremacy, 7-10Despite their shock collapse in Paris – the 24-27 score line doesn’t capture how bad they were in the 1st half – England remain favourites for the 2020 Six Nations. Eddies Jones’s lot sit at an Outright Index spread of 36-39, compared to France at 30-33 and Wales at 28-31, where its 60 points to the winner, 40 to the runner-up etc. To keep that position they need to get their first win, however, something they should do on Saturday. The Scots weren’t rolled over by Ireland in their opening, but neither did they pose much of a threat, failing to score a single try. Spreadex are offering an England/Scotland (h) Point Supremacy spread of 7-10, alongside a Total Points spread of 37-40. 2. Ireland v Wales – Josh Adams SMM, 18-21Last weekend couldn’t have gone any better for Wayne Pivac. In his first Six Nations fixture in charge of Wales, the defending champions destroyed Italy, beating their visitors 42-0. But while that victory was impressive, it’s not the kind fixture indicative of Wales’ chances of holding onto their title. Saturday’s trip to Ireland should provide a better test for the Welsh, even if their hosts are similarly feeling their new coach. As he was in Japan, Josh Adams was the undoubted star against Italy, and will fancy himself in Dublin. Yet despite his hat-trick in Cardiff, he heads into Saturday at a relatively tame SMM spread of 18-21. 3. Man City v West Ham – Total Goals, 4-4.3Man City have let things slip in recent weeks. They draw against Crystal Palace, suffered a 1-0 defeat in the 2nd leg of their EFL Cup semi against United (even if this didn’t prevent them reaching the final), and last weekend lost 2-0 at Tottenham. In comparison to West Ham, that means they’re in pretty good shape. The London club have 3 losses and 2 draws in their last 5 league games; go back further and they have just 3 victories since the end of September. When these sides met on the first weekend of the season, City thumped the Hammers 5-0. Is another drubbing in store? Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 4-4.3.
