Spread Bets Of The Day
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid travel to Saudi Arabia, the BDO World Championship continues, and India and Sri Lanka meet in their 3rd T20 – it’s our Spread Bets of the Day! 1. Barcelona v Atletico Madrid – Bookings, 64-68Instead of making their most of a January break, La Liga’s top sides have travelled to Saudi Arabia for the Supercopa de Espana. On Wednesday, Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-1 to reach Friday’s final. Now on Thursday, Barcelona meet Atletico Madrid in Jeddah, the former hoping to defend the title it won back in 2018. Last time the two met the game ending in a narrow 1-0 win for Barca at the Wanda Metropolitano. It was also pretty spicy, with 4 yellow cards apiece, leading to a Bookings make-up of 80. That explains, then, why Spreadex are offering a rather high Bookings spread of 64-68. It is worth noting, however, that Real Madrid v Valencia had a similar starting spread (of 56-60) only to make-up to just 10 points. In other words, you would have needed to sell that price to win any money. 2. Martijn Kleermaker v Paul Hogan – Kleermaker 25-0, 10.75-12.25 Despite Martijn Kleermaker being 7th on the BDO’s rankings heading into the World Championship, the unseeded Paul Hogan – double the age of the Dutchman, and the only regional table qualifier left in the tournament – is favourite on Thursday. If you think the higher ranked man will be victorious, then buy a Kleermaker 25-0 spread of 10.75-12.25 – that’s where the market makes up to 25 if he wins and 0 if he loses. 3. India v Sri Lanka 3rd T20 – India/Sri Lanka Supremacy, 35-43Sri Lanka aren’t having a great time of it in India. A washout 1st T20, where no play was possible due to rain, was actually preferable to what happened in the 2nd, the hosts romping to a swift 7 wicket victory. That meant the India/Sri Lanka Supremacy market hit 70 points – its 10 points per wicket won by – leaving anyone who bought an opening spread of 34-42 with 28 times their initial stake. Will the Men in Blue put in a similar performance on Friday? Spreadex are offering a 3rd T20 India/Sri Lanka Supremacy spread of 35-43. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
