Spread Bets Of The Day
The seasons starts early for Celtic and Rangers, while Simona Halep, Serena Williams and Johanna Konta all feature in Tuesday’s Wimbledon women’s quarter-finals! 1. FK Sarajevo vs Celtic – Odsonne Edouard SMM, 36-42Despite winning the Scottish treble, the Premiership’s standing in the eyes of UEFA means Celtic still have to qualify for the Champions League via the very 1st round. Tuesday, then, sees them make the trip to Sarajevo to take on the Liga 12 title holders, in a game they should win, with Spreadex offering a Celtic/FK Sarajevo (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1-1.2. Last season’s top scorer Odsonne Edouard will want to get his account open immediately, and sits at a SMM spread of 36-42. 2. St Joseph’s vs Rangers – Total Goal Minutes, 187-202Like Celtic, Stevie G and his Rangers are off to an early start in 2019/20. Their journey to the Europa League proper – well, hopefully – begins with a visit to Gibraltar, where they face the Premier Division’s bronze medallists St Joseph’s. If the country’s national team is anything to go by, then Rangers could leave the rock with a decent haul, leading Spreadex to offer a Total Goal Minutes spread of 187-202. 3. Simona Halep vs Zhang Shuai – Halep 2-0, 52.3-62After spoiling the tournament by knocking out 15-year old sensation Cori Gauff, Simona Halep is aiming for her first Wimbledon semi-final since 2014 when she faces China’s Zhang Shuai. The Romanian has looked especially comfortable in her last 2 matches, and will want to wrap things up early on Tuesday. Spreadex has her at a Halep 2-0 binary spread of 52.3-62. 4. Alison Riske vs Serena Williams – Riske to win match, 20-26.4After taking out no. 1 seed Ashleigh Barty in the 4th round, unseeded American Alison Riske could claim the scalp to end all scalps on Tuesday if she prevents Serena Williams from continuing her quest to match Margaret Court’s 24 Grand Slam titles. It is a huge ask given the speed with which Williams dispatched of Carla Suarez Navarro in the last round, leaving Riske at a cautious binary to win match of 20-26.4. 5. Barbora Strycova vs Johanna Konta – Konta Outright Index, 25-28Johanna Konta has a very spotty record at Wimbledon. Before 2019 she had only gotten past the 2nd round once, during 2017’s surprise run to the semi-finals. Well, the Brit will want to at the very least repeat that feat this year, and stands a good chance of doing so against the unseeded Barbora Strycova. Whether she can go all the way is the big question, especially since she could be facing Serena Williams in the semis. Konta currently sits at an Outright Index spread of 25-28.
