Spread Bets Of The Day
Can a striker-less Tottenham overturn their away goal deficit against RB Leipzig? And who will win the 2020 Cheltenham Festival Champion Hurdle? It’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. RB Leipzig v Tottenham – RB Leipzig/Tottenham Goal Supremacy, 0.9-1.1Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Moussa Sissoko, Juan Foyth, Ben Davies and, now, Steven Bergwijn – a long, ugly injury list, one that may well put Tottenham out of the Champions League. 2020 has been a bit of a nightmare for Jose Mourinho’s men. In large part due to those absences, they’ve won 5 games in 15 fixtures, and 2 of those were FA Cup replays. They’re actually without a victory in their last 4 matches, losing 3 before drawing 1-1 against Burnley last weekend. In that recent run came Spurs’ 1-0 home defeat to RB Leipzig, Timo Werner’s 58th minute penalty separating the sides. Without a striker to their name, and coming up against a team still in contention for the Bundesliga title – even if they’ve drawn 4 of their last 6 league games – Tottenham find themselves in an unenviable situation. That explains why Spreadex are offering a rather one-sided RB Leipzig/Tottenham Goal Supremacy spread of 0.9-1.1. 2. Valencia v Atalanta – Total Goals, 3.15-3.35Scraping through as Group C runners-up, but in the midst of a strong Serie A season, Atalanta put one firm foot in the quarter-finals with their 4-1 home win over Valencia in the 1st leg. They then went to batter Lecce 7-2 in their following league game, though haven’t played since due to the coronavirus lockdown in Italy. As for the Spaniards, they’ve only won once in their last 7 games in all competitions, and have a pretty big hill to climb if they are going to remain in the Champions League. They do, at least, have an away goal life line. If Valencia are to progress then they need to get scoring – Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 3.15-3.35. 3. Cheltenham Festival 2020 Champion Hurdle – Epatante Race Index, 20-23There are no previous winners running in the 2020 Champion Hurdle, the pick of Day 1 at Cheltenham. Guaranteed a first-time victor, many tipsters have opted for Nick Henderson’s Epatante, with the trainer chasing his 8th success story in the race. Spreadex are offering Epatante at a Race Index spread of 21-24, where in this instance 1st place receives 50 points, 2nd place 30, 3rd place 20 and 4th place 10. That puts the horse a long way ahead of the Willie Mullins-trained Cilaos Emery at 10-13, Supasundae at 9-12 and Pentland Hills and Darver Star, both at 8-11.
