Spread Bets Of The Day
Spurs seek revenge in Munich, Man City travel to Zagreb and Atletico fight for a spot in the last-16 – it’s our Spread Bets of the Day! 1. Bayern Munich v Tottenham – Total Goals, 1.6-1.8Technically there’s not much at stake in Tottenham’s trip to Munich. Both sides are already through to the last-16, with Spurs unable to unseat Bayern at the top of Group B. However, and it is a rather significant however, the visitors will be desperate for redemption after suffering that 7-2 humiliation at the start of October. Given that result, and the fact there has been an average of 4.8 goals per game – that’s total, not just scored by Spurs – in the 5 fixtures since Jose Mourinho took charge, a Total Goals spread of 1.6-1.8 is perhaps surprising. That price will be informed by the fact the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli have been rested. Nevertheless, Mourinho could still make an important statement on Wednesday night, especially since Bayern aren’t in the best place right now. 2. Dinamo Zagreb v Man City – Gabriel Jesus SMM, 44-51With 1st place already secure, and a trip to Arsenal this Sunday, Wednesday’s visit to Dinamo Zagreb is sort of just a formality for Man City. Yet with Sergio Aguero still injured, Pep Guardiola might be unable to give Gabriel Jesus a rest. The Brazilian should relish the chance to get his season tally up. On 7 goals total he is behind Aguero on 13 and Raheem on 15, with a solitary strike in Europe. That could change in Croatia – Jesus sits at a SMM spread of 44-51. 3. Atletico Madrid v Lokomotiv Moscow – Atletico /Lokomotiv Goal Supremacy, 2.15-2.35While there was plenty of drama to be found in Tuesday’s night’s Champions League fixtures, on Wednesday there are only 2 unconfirmed spots in the last-16 left to fight over. One is in Group C, where Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb and Atalanta all look to join Man City in the next round. The other is a battle between Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid in Group D. The former host an unbeaten Juventus, with the latter facing the already eliminated Lokomotiv Moscow. The Spaniards aren’t having the best season. In their last 8 games they’ve won just once, against Espanyol in La Liga. In Europe, meanwhile, they’ve suffered back-to-back defeats to Juve and Leverkusen. An Atletico/Lokomotiv Goal Supremacy spread of 2.15-2.35, then, might be a tad optimistic. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
