Spread Bets Of The Day
It’s a big night of Championship football, with Leeds desperately trying to cling onto 2nd place. But what are the Spread Bets of the Day? 1. Brentford v Leeds – Total Goals, 2.45-2.65It is something of a miracle that Leeds are still in 2nd place. The Whites have a solitary victory in 2020, coming back from 2-0 down against Millwall to win 3-2 at the end of January. In fact, Leeds have just 2 wins in their last 11 games in all competitions, a run of form that now sees them ahead of Fulham by goal different alone. However, the Cottagers aren’t the only side they need to worry about. Brentford would leapfrog Leeds with a win on Tuesday, at 7.45pm on Sky Sports Interactive. Such a result would also allow Nottingham Forest to take 2nd place if they manage to beat a relegation-worried Charlton. And that’s before you even consider Fulham’s trip to Millwall on Wednesday... The Bees have a lot going for them at the moment. In Ollie Watkins they have the Championship’s joint top scorer with 20 goals. Only West Brom have scored more than the club overall. And no side has a tighter defence, Brentford conceding 25 goals in 31 games. They also have 8 goals already this month. Leeds, meanwhile, have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 fixtures. With that in mind, Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 2.45-2.65. 2. Swansea v QPR – Jordan Hugill SMM, 25-30If Swansea are to maintain a dark horse push for a spot in the play-offs – they are currently 4 points shy of 6th place Preston – then anything but a victory on Tuesday night is unthinkable. They host QPR at 7.45pm on Sky Sports Main Event. Neither side is in great form at the moment. The Swans have 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in their last 5; Rangers 4 losses and a solitary victory. Mark Warburton’s side are also dealing with the departure of top scorer Nahki Wells, who was recalled by Burnley and then sold to play-off hopefuls Bristol City just before the transfer deadline. That means West Ham loanee Jordan Hugill, really needs to step up. The 27-year old heads to Wales at a SMM spread of 25-30. 3. Wigan v Middlesbrough – Wigan/Middlesbrough Goal Supremacy, -0.1-0.1Though they can’t drag themselves out of the relegation zone on Tuesday, a win over Middlesbrough would enormously help Wigan’s chances of survival, at 7.45pm on Sky Sports Interactive. Boro, meanwhile, are in danger of being dragged back into the battle at the bottom if they fail to pick up a win – something they last did on New Year’s Day. It’s a hard fixture to call, hence why Spreadex are offering a choice Wiga/Middlesbrough Goal Supremacy spread of -0.1-0.1. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
