Spread Bets Of The Day
A Coppa Italia clash pits Ronaldo against Ibrahimović, the Toronto Wolfpack travel to Wigan, and Fallon Sherrock makes her Premier League Darts debut – it’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. AC Milan v Juventus – Zlatan Ibrahimović SMM, 27-32The red half of Milan isn’t having the best season. They’re 10th in the Serie A, most recently blowing a 2-0 lead over Inter to lose 4-2. And they’ve got serious problems going forwards, scoring 25 goals in 23 games – only 4 Serie A sides have a lower tally, and 3 of those are in the relegation zone. That drought caused Stefano Pioli to bring in Zlatan Ibrahimović on a 6-month contract, the big bad Swede returning to the San Siro for the first time since 2012. He’s immediately made his presence felt, with 3 goals in 6 appearances. For context, Milan’s top scorer is left back Theo Hernanadez, who’s on 6 in 21 games. Milan are coming up against a Juventus that have had their own issues in recent weeks. Maurizio Sarri’s side have lost their last 2 games away from home, allowing Inter to jump into 1st thanks to a superior goal difference. What Juve do have going for them is Cristiano Ronaldo. He has 23 goals in all competitions, including 10 goals in 6 Serie A fixtures in 2020. So, who will come out on top of this clash of titans? Ronaldo is at a SMM spread of 41-48 – relatively restrained for him – against Ibrahimović’s spread of 27-32. 2. Wigan Warriors v Toronto Wolfpack – Total Points, 41-44The Wolfpack haven’t had the best start to their Super League career. Their season began with a 28-10 loss at home – well, at Headingley; they aren’t off to Toronto until mid-April – against the Castleford Tigers. They gave a slightly better account of themselves against Salford, but still lost 24-16. Can they get their first win in Wigan? The Warriors beat Warrington 16-10 in the season curtain raiser, only to slump to a 16-12 defeat to the Tigers the week after. Despite Wigan’s low-scoring past 2 fixtures, Spreadex are offering a decent-sized Total Points spread of 41-44. 3. Glen Durrant v Fallon Sherrock – Durrant/Sherrock 10-3, 13-16Fallon Sherrock makes her Premier League Darts debut – of sorts – as one of the competition’s ‘challengers’ on Thursday night. She takes on fellow PLD first-timer Glen Durrant in Nottingham – can she get an upset? Spreadex are offering a Durrant/Sherrock 10-3 Supremacy spread of 13-16, where the winner gets 10 points plus a further 3 points for each leg won by. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
