Spread Bets Of The Day
1. Wolves vs Pyunik – Wolves/Pyunik Goal Supremacy, 3.3-3.5Excusing an unforeseen collapse, Wolves likely already have their place in the Europa League qualifying playoffs confirmed. They beat Pyunik 4-0 in Yerevan, meaning the Armenian side need at least 4 away goals of their own to stand a chance of going through. That knowledge, combined with their impending visit from Manchester United on Monday, and the fact they were held to a goalless draw by Leicester after the 1st leg, might make Wolves a bit reticent to properly bare their teeth on Thursday. A Wolves/Pyunik Goal Supremacy spread of 3.3-3.5 might be worth mulling over, then. 2. Rangers vs FC Midtjylland – 1st Rangers GoalConscious of Celtic’s European failings, and not completely without risk of an early exit after conceding twice in Denmark, Rangers will want to put Thursday’s qualifier beyond doubt, and fast. With that in mind, Steven Gerrard’s side might want to get out of the gate early; Spreadex are offering a 1st Rangers Goal spread of 40-43. 3. Derbyshire vs Leicestershire – Ravi Rampaul Player Performance, 30-34With 13 wickets in 7 games, Derbyshire’s Ravi Pampaul is only bested by Lancashire’s Matt Parkinson in the t20 Blast so far. The 34-year old will be looking to edge closer to Parkinson’s 16 on Thursday night, when the Falcons host the Foxes. Rampaul heads into the fixture at a Player Performance spread of 30-34, where its 1 point per run, 10 points per catch, 20 points per wicket and 25 points per stumping. 4. Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens – Ash Handley SMM, 33-37The Rhinos have gored their last 2 opponents, humiliating Huddersfield 44-0 at the John Smiths Stadium before beating Catalans Dragons 48-8 at home. St Helens are a slightly different prospect, however, given they’ve won the League Leader’s Shield, already have a place in the play-off semi-finals, and are in the Challenge Cup final on August 24th. It could come down to who does better out of Ash Handley and Tommy Makinson; at 19 tries apiece they are the joint 2nd top scorers in the Super League, and head into Thursday night at SMM spreads of 33-37 and 37-41 respectively. 5. Roger Federer vs Andrey Rublev – Rublev 2-0, 3.4-11.2Andrey Rublev has already knocked out one Swiss star in Cincinnati, beating Stan Wawrinka 6-4 6-4. The Russian will hoping for an even bigger scalp against Roger Federer; to give you a taste of how tough that’s going to be, he sits at a 2-0 binary spread of 3.4-11.2.
