Spread Bets Of The Day
Another round of nations could confirm their places in Euro 2020 this Tuesday evening – but what should you be paying attention to from a spread betting perspective? 1. Switzerland vs Republic of Ireland – Total Goal Minutes, 113-123After missing out on last year’s World Cup, Ireland can secure a spot in Euro 2020 via a victory over Switzerland on Tuesday night. Mick McCarthy’s 2nd tenure as the country’s manager hasn’t been the most inspiring, Ireland repeatedly grinding narrow wins and tense draws. But while their attack is a real concern, with a mere 6 goals in as many games, they have only conceded twice, one of the better records in the entirety of qualifying. That means the Total Goal Minutes market, which sits at a spread of 113-123, could be on the low side in Geneva. 2. Sweden vs Spain – Penalty Goal Minutes, 12-15All Spain need is a point in Solna to reach the continent-spanning Euro 2020. Not too hard given that, last time they met Sweden, they won 3-0. That game saw the Spaniards given 2 penalties; in 7 games they’ve been awarded 4 spot-kicks. And even though they’ll be without usual taker Sergio Ramos, a Penalty Goal Minutes spread of 12-15 could be worth keeping an eye on. 3. Liechtenstein vs Italy – Italy/Liechtenstein (h) Goal Supremacy, 3.65-3.85Already qualified – handy, given they are one of the hosts – Italy will likely be in for a relaxing evening in Liechtenstein. The minnows have conceded 20 goals during qualifying; their visitors have scored just as many. Factor in Gil Azzurri’s 6-0 win back in March, and Italy sit at a Goal Supremacy spread of 3.65-3.85. 4. Romania vs Norway – Claudiu Keseru SMM, 18-22Both Romania and Norway are still in the running for one of Group F’s qualification spots, especially if Sweden lose to Spain on Tuesday. The Romanians are in the better position, on 13 points to Sweden’s 14 and Norway’s 10. They also have the group’s top scorer in Claudiu Keseru, who heads to Bucharest at a SMM spread of 18-22. 5. Finland vs Armenia – Total Goals, 2.35-2.55Thanks to Italy’s dominance, the other spot in Group J is still very much in play. Finland are currently in 2nd place on 12 points, but would be leapfrogged by Armenia if the latter win on Tuesday. With Teemu Pukki on the pitch, and neither side the tightest at the back, a Total Goals spread of 2.35-2.55 might be interesting. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
