Spread Bets Of The Day
Will Man United add another blemish to Liverpool’s perfect season? Can Conor McGregor win in his return to the Octagon? It’s the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Liverpool v Man United – Liverpool/Man United Goal Supremacy, 1.4-1.6Though there might be 27 points between them, Man United are the only side to take anything from Liverpool in the league this season. Back in October they wrestled a point off the Reds at Old Trafford, the visitors’ unbeaten streak preserved by an 85th minute equaliser from Adam Lallana. Since then Liverpool have won their last 12 Premier League games on the trot; United, meanwhile, have lost away at Watford and Arsenal in the last month. The Reds probably don’t have anything to worry about, even if a chunky Liverpool/Man United Goal Supremacy spread of 1.4-1.6 makes the fixture appear easier than it might end up being. 2. Watford v Tottenham – Bookings, 38-42With their FA Cup 3rd round replay delayed due to a water-logged pitch, Watford – who are already in much better form than Spurs – will be the fresher of the 2 sides when they travel to Tottenham on Saturday. Both teams have been liberally picking up cards of late. Across their last 5 league games Watford are averaging 36 Bookings points per fixture, with Tottenham not far behind on 35. With that in mind, Spreadex are offering a Bookings spread of 38-42. 3. Chelsea v Newcastle – 1st Chelsea Goal, 40-43Chelsea have been quick out of the gates in 2020. They scored after 10 minutes against Brighton, 27 minutes against Burnley and just 6 minutes against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. Will they be just as swift against a Newcastle side that have conceded a goal within an average of 19.25 minutes in their last 4 league fixtures? Spreadex are offering a 1st Chelsea Goal spread of 40-43. 4. Burnley v Leicester – Total Goals, 2.65-2.85For the first time since the opening weekend of November, Leicester aren’t in 2nd place. Their shock loss against Southampton allowed City to overtake them, and likely dealt a fatal blow to their slender title hopes. A big run out against Burnley could be just the tonic. The Clarets have the 4th leakiest defence in the league, behind only Norwich, Villa and the Saints. Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 2.65-2.85. 5. Conor McGregor v Donald Cerrone – Fight Minutes, 9.25-10.75Stepping into the Octagon for the first time since October 2018, looking for his first win since November 2016, Conor McGregor is easily the favourite for his fight with Cowboy Donald Cerrone. He has the upper hand at a 10-3 Supremacy spread of 9-12, where the winner receives 10 points plus a further 3 for every round remaining in the fight (including the current one). However the Notorious one has said he doesn’t want to put Cerrone down early, claiming he is looking to ‘acquire rounds...I’m not going to be in a rush’. What will that mean for the main event’s Fight Minutes? Spreadex are offering the market at a spread of 9.25-10.75. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
