Spread Bets Of The Day
The Champions League returns this Tuesday – but what exactly should you be paying attention to? 1. Napoli vs Liverpool – Napoli 1-0, 4.7-9.1Once again Liverpool and Napoli meet in the Champions League group stages. Last season each team won their home fixture, while back in July the Reds lost 3-0 in a friendly in Edinburgh. Europe’s defending champions are in formidable form. In fact, out of the English, Spanish, German, Italian and French leagues – safe to say, all the biggies – only Liverpool and Inter Milan have a 100% record. And even then, the Reds have won 5 games to Inter’s 3. However, they weren’t at their best during the group stages in 2018/19, losing all 3 games away from home despite their form domestically. Maybe, then, the Italians can replicate last season’s result; Spreadex are offering a Napoli 1-0 binary spread of 4.7-9.1. 2. Chelsea vs Valencia – Tammy Abraham SMM, 39-46Chelsea themselves might still be a bit inconsistent, but Tammy Abraham has really hit his stride. His hat-trick against Wolves – he was so keen for goals he also scored in his own net – makes him the Premier League’s joint top scorer on 7 goals. The 21-year old will be chomping at the bit to open his European account, and he stands a good chance of doing so – Valencia lost 5-2 to Barcelona on Saturday. Abraham sits at a SMM spread of 39-46. 3. Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona – Total Goals, 3.3-3.5In perhaps Tuesday’s biggest fixture, Borussia Dortmund host Barcelona. Defensively the Spaniards have been a bit of a mess, conceding an uncharacteristic 7 goals in 4 games; they also are without a win away from home. However, already they have a pair of 5-2 victories under their belts, against Real Betis and Valencia. Dortmund, meanwhile, have been similarly prolific up front, with 13 goals in their opening 4 games. Like Barca, they’ve also not been immune to a shock, losing 3-1 at Union Berlin. In other words, would could be seeing a rather tasty score line, hence a Total Goals spread of 3.3-3.5. 4. Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague – Bookings, 41-45Both Inter Milan and Slavia Prague have already had their fair share of feisty fixtures this season, picking up plenty of cards themselves while seemingly bringing out the worst in their opponents. Things could get tense at the San Siro, then, leading to a Bookings spread of 41-45. 5. Ajax vs Lille – Ajax Win to Nil, 33.3-40Lille are yet to score on the road; Ajax yet to lose in Amsterdam. With that in mind, the hosts willing be aiming to keep a clean sheet, with Spreadex offering a Ajax Win to Nil binary spread of 33.3-40.Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
