Spread Bets Of The Day
Have Wolves had enough time to recover from Thursday’s visit from Pyunik, or will Man United be able to take advantage of their European weariness?
1. Man United/Wolves (h) Goal Supremacy, 0.1-0.3There’s a reason why the Supremacy spread is only at 0.1-0.3 in favour of United, despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s soldiers hammering Chelsea 4-0 in the opening weekend. Thrice Wolves met United in 2018/19, drawing once and beating them twice. Crucially, those wins a) came at Molineux, and b) occurred after the Norwegian took over the reins at Old Trafford. In other words, there is good reason to believe Nuno Espirito Santo has his opposite’s number. 2. Raul Jimenez SMM, 25-30Ahead of both Marcus Rashford, at 22-27, and Anthony Martial, at 20-24, Raul Jimenez goes into Monday night with a superior SMM spread of 25-30. Already the Mexican has 4 goals this season thanks to braces against both Crusaders and Pyunik in Europa League qualifying. It is also worth mentioning that Diogo Jota is at a SMM spread of 13-17, given he scored in both of Wolves’ aforementioned wins over United last season. 3. 2-1 Man United, 13-16Though Wolves have had longer to recover from Thursday’s Europa League fixture than normal, it is telling that, despite their success in the competition, when it came to their first Premier League game they could only muster a goalless draw at Leicester. United might be well-positioned, then, to beat a side that have already played 5 times this season, and sit at a binary 2-1 correct score spread of 13-16.
