Spread Bets Of The Day
The Copa America quarter-finals, Spreadex’s special Lioness Markets and a potential Virat Kohli record all feature in the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. West Indies vs India – Virat Kohli Player Performance, 60-6519,963. That’s the number of international runs Virat Kohli has scored across ODIs, Tests and T20Is in 416 innings. That means the 30-year old is just 37 runs off a landmark 12,000. If he reaches that tally on Thursday he will become the fastest ever to do so, far quicker than the 453 innings taken by both Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara. And considering he is going into Thursday’s World Cup match against the West Indies at a Kohli Player Performance spread of 60-65, he could well break that record sooner rather than later. 2. 2019 Copa America – Chile Outright Index, 39-42The 2019 edition of the Copa America enters the quarter-finals this week, with the juiciest fixture, on paper anyway, being Colombia vs Chile. La Tricolor were the only side to escape the group stages unbeaten – not bad given they were drawn with Argentina. Chile, meanwhile, stumbled in their final game against Uruguay, setting up a tougher than wanted last-8 fixture. Despite being 2-time defending champions, that’s left Chile with an Outright Index spread of 39-42 – they already have 25 points locked thanks to reaching the QFs – behind Colombia’s 50-53, and way off host Brazil’s 76-79. 3. Egypt vs DR Congo – Trezeguet SMM, 14-18Mohamed Salah might be the biggest name in Egyptian football – and has been rewarded accordingly, the Liverpool ace at a SMM spread of 57-67 – but only one man has scored twice African Cup of Nations hosts in 2019: Trezeguet. The 24-year old has 2 goals in 5 games this year, including the winner against Zimbabwe in last Friday’s curtain raiser, and heads to Cairo at a Trezeguet SMM spread of 14-18. 4. DC United vs Orlando City – DC United to win 2-1. Wayne Rooney to Score First, 0-6.7Without a win in their last 5 fixtures, DC United can nevertheless narrow Philadelphia Union’s Eastern Conference lead to just 1 point by beating Orlando City in the early hours of Thursday morning. Wayne Rooney is currently United’s top scorer with 8 goals, and could well score first in Washington. Plump for that, and United to win 2-1, and Spreadex are offering a binary spread of 0-6.7. 5. Women’s World Cup Lioness Markets – England Bookings, 34-38England have been pretty squeaky clean in the 2019 Women’s World Cup. In fact, they are the least dirty of the 8 teams left, picking up a single yellow card across the group stages and last-16 (Germany are the worst offenders with 5 yellows). That means currently the tournament-long England Bookings make-up stands at 10, with Spreadex offering a spread of 34-38 heading into Friday’s quarter-final against Norway.Disclaimer: prices quoted are subject to change
