Spread Bets Of The Day
A potentially record-breaking weekend for Liverpool, the EFL Cup final between Aston Villa and Man City, and El Clasico all feature in our Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Watford v Liverpool – Liverpool/Watford (h) Goal Supremacy, 1.2-1.4 A victory over Watford, at 5.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League, would take Liverpool to a record-breaking 19 consecutive league wins. They’ve had some scares in recent weeks. It took an 84th minute winner to win at Wolves, a 78th minute strike to get past Norwich and, on Monday, they had to come back from 2-1 down to beat West Ham 3-2. On paper they shouldn’t have any problems with Watford – the Hornets haven’t won a game since January 12th, losing 3 and drawing 2 (and that’s not to mention their FA Cup exit at the hands of Tranmere Rovers). Yet, as mentioned, the Reds only narrowly got past Watford’s relegation zone roommates West Ham and Norwich, meaning a runaway victory on Saturday isn’t guaranteed. Nevertheless Spreadex are offering a confident Liverpool/Watford (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.2-1.4. 2. Aston Villa v Man City – Total Goals, 3.45-3.65 Villa have really made the most of their chances in the EFL Cup. Yes they benefited from Liverpool’s World Club Cup commitments in the quarter-finals, crushing Klopp’s kids 5-0. However, they earned their spot in the final by beating Leicester 3-2 on aggregate, even if they required an injury time winner from transfer flop Trezeguet. Can they pull off another surprise this Sunday, at 4.30pm on Sky Sports Football? Probably not. In 2 meetings with Man City this season they’ve lost 3-0 and, in January, 6-1. That explains why Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 3.45-3.65. 3. Norwich v Leicester – Jamie Vardy SMM, 51-59Still the Premier League’s joint top scorer, Jamie Vardy is nevertheless yet to score in any competition in 2020. Facing Norwich – bottom of the table and with the 2nd worst defence in the league – may help change that this Friday, at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League. Despite his goalless streak, Vardy heads to Carrow Road at a very high SMM spread of 51-59. 4. Real Madrid v Barcelona – Bookings, 65-69Sunday’s El Clasico – at 8pm on La Liga TV – is primed to be a big one. Barcelona are 2 points ahead of Real Madrid in 1st place, and have won their last 4 league games in a row. Zindane’s side, on the other hand, are winless in their last 2, and are coming off of that mid-week loss to Man City. Their last meeting ended 0-0, but did still have 8 yellow cards – hence why Spreadex are offering a Bookings spread of 65-69. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
