Spread Bets Of The Day
Crystal Palace host Burnley, Getafe and Real Sociedad battle for Europe, and Porto look to maintain their Primeira Liga lead – it’s the Spread Bets of the Day! But what should you be keeping an eye on? 1. Crystal Palace v Burnley – Total Goal Minutes, 100-110Liverpool may have won the league, but there is still plenty to play for when it comes to next season’s European participants. And Crystal Palace and Burnley are both in with a longshot chance of reaching the Europa League – they meet at 8pm free on Amazon Prime. They’ve had very similar restarts. Both have solid wins over relegation-troubled teams; Palace beat Bournemouth 2-0, Burnley snuck a 1-0 victory against Watford. They’ve also both been dealt drubbings at the hands of the top 2, with the Clarets losing 5-0 to City and Palace guiding the Reds towards the title with a 4-0 defeat. Yet, a victory for either would put them on 45 points, level with 7th place Tottenham (if, admittedly, having played one more game, and with a far inferior goal difference). Palace are the favourites, at a Goal Supremacy spread of 0.25-0.45. Meanwhile, given the fact they have 3 goals between them across 4 games, Spreadex is offering a Total Goal Minutes spread of 100-110. Buying at that price would mean you would need at least 2 games, ideally in the 2nd half, to start to make any money. 2. Getafe v Real Sociedad – Bookings, 57-61Before lockdown Getafe and Real Sociedad were among a group of Spanish sides all chasing the Champions League. Now it seems they are scrapping over a spot in Europe’s other club competition. The sides face-off at 9pm on La Liga TV (Sky 435). Getafe, in 6th place on 49 points, could swap places with 5th place Villarreal with a win; victory for Sociedad, meanwhile, would see them overtake their hosts. In a sign of how bad they’ve been since the restart, both teams are chasing their first wins of June. Getafe followed a loss at Grenada with 3 consecutive draws, while Sociedad have done the inverse, with a draw and 3 defeats. They’ve both also been liberally picking up cards. The Bookings makeup average across Sociedad’s 4 games this month is 65; for Getafe it is 68.75. With that in mind, Spreadex is offering a Bookings spread of 57-61. 3. Pacos Ferreira v Porto – Porto/Pacos Ferreira (h) Goal Supremacy, 1.1-1.3With 6 games left – including Monday’s fixture – Porto are trying to protect a 4 point lead at the top of Primeira Liga. They travel to Pacos Ferreira at 9.15pm on FreeSports (Sky 422). 2018/19’s runners-up finally seemed to refind their feet last week, beating Boavista 4-0. That came after a loss to Famalicao, a win over Maritimo and a draw at Desportivo das Aves. That rocky form perhaps makes the extent of their Porto/Pacos Ferreira (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.1-1.3 slightly surprising. Disclaimer: spread betting losses can exceed deposit.
