Spread Bets Of The Day
A club legend takes over at Arsenal, Leicester look to chew up the Toffees and Man City travel to Newcastle – it’s our Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Newcastle v Man City – Total Goals, 3.35-3.55They might currently be well off the Reds, but Man City remain the Premier League’s top scorers with 37 goals in 13 games. Newcastle, meanwhile, are among the most goal-shy; they sit on the same 11 goals as Crystal Palace, with only Watford lower on 8. If a Total Goals spread of 3.35-3.55 is to be worth buying then it will likely have to be down to City – even if they’ve only averaged 1.4 goals per game in November. 2. Southampton v Watford – 1st Match Goal, 35-38Though neither team can escape the relegation zone with a win on Saturday, both are desperate for a w in. The Saints almost got the better of Arsenal last weekend, so will be the more confident side heading into the tie. They are, however, yet to win a game at St Mary’s this season. In Southampton’s last 4 league games there has been a goal within 13 minutes of kick-off. Will that be the case on Saturday? Spreadex are offering a 1st Match Goal spread of 35-38. 3. Norwich v Arsenal – Arsenal/Norwich (h) Goal Supremacy, 0.6-0.8In their last 9 games in all competitions, Arsenal have just one win. Their last league victory came on October 6th. They have less than half the points of Liverpool, sitting far closer to the relegation zone despite being in 8th place. Unai Emery, understandably, has been given the boot. A trip to Norwich, who haven’t blossomed since coming up to the top flight, could be the kind of fixture they need to reset under temporary manager Freddie Ljungberg. Then again, the Canaries did beat Man City at Carrow Road. Spreadex are offering an unconvincing Arsenal/Norwich (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.6-0.8. 4. Leicester v Everton – Leicester Clean Sheet, 34.7-42.2The Foxes are flying at the moment, sitting in 2nd place after winning their last 5 league fixtures on the trot. Even better, they’ve kept a clean sheet in their last 4 games. Keeping that in mind Spreadex are offering a Leicester Clean Sheet binary spread of 34.7-42.2. 5. Swansea v Fulham – Aleksander Mitrovic SMM, 41-48In a potential early glimpse at next year’s play-offs, 6th place Swansea host 3rd place Fulham on Friday night, with the former able to leapfrog the latter in victory. The Swans will have to contend with Aleksander Mitrovic, however. The fiery Serbian forward is the Championship’s top scorer on 13 goals, and sits at a solid SMM spread of 41-48.
