Spread Bets Of The Day
It’s the 4th round of the EFL Cup, with Southampton facing a terrifying trip to Man City and Leicester looking to bash Burton. But what exactly should you be paying attention to? 1. Man City vs Southampton – Sergio Aguero SMM, 94-109In a cruel quirk of fate Southampton, bloody and barely breathing after Friday’s 9-0 defeat at home to Leicester, travel to Man City for the first of 2 fixtures at the Etihad this week. If that wasn’t bad enough, the last time the Saints visited Man City they lost 6-1. The sour cherry on top? The depth of Pep Guardiola’s team means he can rotate a player of Sergio Aguero’s quality back INTO the starting XI after dropping him against Villa. The Argentine ace sits at a colossal SMM spread of 94-109, a price no doubt inflated by Southampton’s record-breaking humiliation against the Foxes. 2. Burton vs Leicester – Total Goals, 3.05-3.25Riding high after last Friday’s antics, and now 3rd in the league only 2 points behind City, the Foxes will be out for blood on Tuesday night. Burton did beat Bournemouth in the 3rd round, meaning they could have another scalp in them. However, it’d be a mighty fall from grace for the Foxes if that were to happen. Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 3.05-3.25. 3. Everton vs Watford – Watford to win match, 12.5-16.7Currently Watford are the only side in the Premier League yet to win a game this season. And yet, they managed not to lose in October, while in the EFL Cup they’ve beaten Coventry and Swansea. Everton aren’t exactly in the best form themselves, and could be ripe for the picking on Tuesday. Spreadex are offering a Watford to win match binary spread of 12.5-16.7. 4. Crawley vs Colchester – Corners, 10.1-10.6These League Two sides have actually already met this season. In fact, it was only a few weeks ago that Crawley Town beat Colchester – who knocked out both Crystal Palace and Spurs on penalties – 2-1 courtesy of an 80th minute goal from Mason Bloomfield. That fixture saw 17 corners total, 8 for the Reds and 9 for the U’s. In contrast, Spreadex are offering a Corners price of 10.1-10.6 ahead of Tuesday’s clash. 5. Oxford United vs Sunderland – Oxford United/Sunderland Goal Supremacy, -0.1-0.1In the reverse of their first game of the season – a fixture that ended 1-1 – Oxford and Sunderland meet once more in the EFL Cup 4th round on Tuesday. There’s not a lot to split the 2 sides. Oxford are 5th in League One to the Black Cats’ 8th, though the latter have a game in hand and are only 3 points behind. The Yellows beat West Ham 4-0 in the last round; Sunderland have already eliminated Burnley and Sheffield United. So tough to call is this fixture that Spreadex are offering a choice Oxford/Sunderland Goal Supremacy spread of -0.1-0.1. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
