Spread Bets Of The Day
Man United chase the Champions League in Brighton, Barcelona battle Atletico Madrid, and Juventus travel to Genoa – but what should you be watching? It’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. Brighton v Man United – Man United/Brighton (h) Goal Supremacy, 0.95-1.15United can’t let up now – they need a win in Brighton on Tuesday night to retake one of the spots in next season’s Champions League. They travel to the Seagulls at 8.15pm, free on Pick TV (and Sky One). Solskjaer’s side haven’t fully convinced since the restart, with a late 1-1 draw against Tottenham and an extra-time FA Cup win over Norwich. The high point so far was their 3-0, Anthony Martial-led victory against Sheffield United, one that strengthened their European hand heading into the final stretch. Brighton, meanwhile, aren’t safe from the drop – not yet, at least. They are in 15th place, 6 points above 18th place Bournemouth. Yet they have a tough run-in, including United on Tuesday and Liverpool and Man City next week, as well potentially tricky trips to Southampton and Burnley. Plenty, then, still to play for. And though the Seagulls saw off Arsenal in their first game back, they are the heavy underdogs, at a Man United/Brighton (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.95-1.15.2. Barcelona v Atletico Madrid – Lionel Messi SMM, 45-53Barcelona cannot afford to slip up when they host Atletico Madrid this Tuesday, at 9pm on La Liga TV (Sky 435). With 2 draws in their last 5 games – and Real Madrid on a 5 game winning streak since the restart – Spain’s defending champs are now 2 points shy of their rivals. As for Atletico, they’ve hit their stride, unbeaten in 10 games, including 4 wins in their last 4. Lionel Messi has been absent from the score sheet in Barca’s last 3 fixtures, meaning he is still after his 700th career goal. Will he get it on Tuesday, against the 2nd stingiest defence in the league? He sits at a SMM spread of 45-53. 3. Genoa v Juventus – Bookings, 58-62Thanks to Lazio’s slip up at Atalanta – their 1st Serie A defeat since September – Juventus are sitting pretty at the top of the table, with a 4 point lead to defend. They travel to Genoa at 8.45pm on Premier Sports 2. In 6 of their last 8 domestic fixtures – covering Serie A and Coppa Italia – there has been a red card. Only one of those has come at Juve’s expense. The last time they played Genoa, meanwhile, the Bookings makeup hit a massive 135, with 2 reds for Il Grifone and 1 for Juventus. Will things be just as spicy on Tuesday? Spreadex are offering a Bookings spread of 58-62. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
