Spread Bets Of The Day
Tottenham look to leapfrog Sheffield with a win over Everton, Oxford and Portsmouth meet in the League One play-offs, and Heidenheim and Werder Bremen battle for a spot in the Bundesliga – but which markets should you be watching? 1. Tottenham v Everton – Harry Kane SMM, 39-46Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are exhibiting the kind of form that got Mauricio Pochettino fired in November. Can Spurs turn things around by beating Everton, at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League?Despite losing 3-1 to the Blades on Thursday, all 3 points on Monday would be enough to lift Tottenham into 8th place, temporarily shunting Sheffield out of Europe next season via a superior goal difference. The Toffees, meanwhile, could insert themselves into the race for a place in the Europa League with a win in London. They’re on 44 points, meaning victory would leave them a solitary point behind Sheffield. And they’ll fancy their chances; they’re unbeaten since the restart, most recently beating Leicester. Maybe the lone positive to take from Tottenham’s loss at Bramall Lane was that it marked Harry Kane’s 2nd consecutive goal, the forward refinding his feet after a chunky period of time out with injury. Will he get another late strike this evening? Spreadex is offering a Kane SMM of 39-46. 2. Oxford United v Portsmouth – Oxford/Portsmouth Goal Supremacy, 0-0.2The more delicately poised of the League One play-off semi-finals – Wycombe beat Fleetwood 4-1 in their 1st leg – Oxford host Portsmouth at 5pm on Sky Sports Main Event. For the 3rd time this season a game between Oxford and Portsmouth finished in a stalemate. Alongside their 1-1 opening leg last Friday, they drew 1-1 in League One in November and 2-2 in the EFL Trophy in August, in a game Pompey won on penalties. This time out, however, the hosts have the advantage – just – at a narrow Oxford/Portsmouth Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2. 3. Heidenheim v Werder Bremen – Total Goal Minutes, 119-129Fighting to stay in the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen travel to Heidenheim, at 7.30pm on BT Sport 1, after a goalless draw in the 1st leg.Out of nowhere Bremen busted out a pair of massive wins in the final fortnight of the league proper, beating Paderborn 5-1 and, on the final day of the season, Koln 6-1, to ensure they went to the play-offs rather than straight to 2nd division. Such sharpshooting was absence last Thursday. But with the pressure on, can the club – who finished in 8th in the Bundesliga in 2018/19 – turn it up once again? If you think so, maybe take a look at a low Total Goal Minutes spread of 119-129. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
