Spread Bets Of The Day
What’s the biggest game on tonight?
A delay in receiving his work visa means that Ralf Rangnick is likely to be at Old Trafford for Manchester United’s game with Arsenal but Michael Carrick will remain in charge of picking the team one final time. Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer departed in the aftermath of the 4-1 thrashing at Watford, Carrick has guided United safely into the last 16 of the Champions League with a 2-0 win at Villarreal, and to a point at Premier League leaders Chelsea. Matches between United and Arsenal have been low scoring over the past couple of years, with only 5 goals in the past 4 meetings. Indeed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty at Old Trafford to give the Gunners an away win was the only goal in the two games between them last season.
Total Goal Minutes (143-153)
Carrick picked a defensive team at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with three defensive midfielders and Bruno Fernandes pushed further forward to lead the press and Cristiano Ronaldo left on the bench. With skipper Harry Maguire back to add more steel to the United backline, and Arsenal – apart from their 4-0 thrashing at Liverpool – looking tighter at the back with keeper Aaron Ramsdale in top form, we’ve seen plenty of selling in our goals markets, including Total Goal Minutes.
Are there any other Premier League games tonight?
Tottenham will be feeling fresh after the postponement of their weekend game as they face Brentford in a London derby. Antonio Conte was not impressed with his side’s first half effort last time out against Leeds, but after a few choice words at half-time, his side were vastly improved as they came back to claim victory. Brentford win their first game in six on Saturday, Ivan Toney scoring the only goal of the game against an Everton side in even worse form than the Bees.
Both Teams to Score and Tottenham to Win (Boosted to 23/10)
Spurs have won three of their past six games, and in each one this boosted bet would have copped as both teams have scored. As well as the 2-1 win over Leeds, Spurs have beaten Newcastle 3-2 and Aston Villa 2-1, with defeats against West Ham and Manchester United and a draw with Everton in between.
Who is playing in the NFL’s Thursday Night Football?
New Orleans Saints travel to the Dallas Cowboys looking to arrest a four-game losing streak that has ruined their season. The Saints will again be with star running back Alvin Kamara misses a fourth straight game with a knee injury. Taysom Hill is set to stat at quarterback in place of Trevor Siemian, who is 0-4 as a starter since placing the injured Jameis Winston. Dallas hope to have wide receiver Amari Cooper available after being without him through injury for the past two games.
TD Yardage (87-97)
We’ve seen some buying of the TD Yardage spread, with Dak Prescott set to have both his two top wide receivers available, with Cooper likely to be fit and CeeDee Lamb ready to return after missing the Thanksgiving game with the Raiders because of concussion. The Saints’ change of quarterback also gives some cause for optimism, given how poor they’ve been with Trevor Siemian pulling the strings. The TD Yardage market aggregates all the yards covered in all touchdowns in the game.
