Top 5 Bets for Everton v Burnley

Monday Night Football dominates the sport schedules on both sides of the Pond, but what bets are being placed on Spreadex sponsored Burnley’s trip to Everton and the Raiders against the Ravens in Vegas.

Everton v Burnley

Headed Goal Minutes (26-29)

Dominic Calvert Lewin has scored in his last three games against Burnley and in all of his three games this season. As long as he’s passed fit, big things are expected of the England striker tonight, and given his prowess in the air and having scored a header in this fixture last season, the Headed Goal Minutes market catches the eye. Chris Wood, another who has been known to score a header or two, will be leading the Burnley line, while centre half James Tarkowski scored a headed goal just two minutes into the first game of the season against Brighton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin PGM (26-29)

Given Calvert-Lewin’s form this season, and recent form against Burnley, it’s no surprise we’ve seen money for DCL Player Goal Minutes and Super Mega Minutes, which doubles the time of the second goal and trebles that of the third, at 42-49. Calvert-Lewin has also taken over as penalty taker this season, and has scored two from two spot kicks in the three games so far this season.

Maxwel Cornet PGM (3-6)

Burnley newboy Cornet will be looking to make some noise on his Clarets debut. The £15million Ivory Coast international scored more than 50 goals in 250 appearances for Lyon before becoming Burnley’s first foreign signing from a foreign club in more than five years. It’s unclear where Sean Dyche sees Cornet fitting in, but there is a possibility of it being in an advanced position. Remember, if a player isn’t in the starting XI, bets in this market are void.

Demarai Gray First Goalscorer (industry best 17/2)

It’s safe to say Evertonians weren’t exactly dancing in the streets at the prospect of Gray joining their squad from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer for just under £2million. But he’s silenced his critics with goals in each of his first two games as he looks to put a difficult spell in Germany behind him. And don’t forget if Gray doesn’t get the first goal but does score last, Spreadex’s First Goalscorer Insurance means you get your money back as a free bet.

Las Vegas Raiders v Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson QB Performance (148-160)

The Ravens get to spend the first Monday of the NFL season in Vegas, and the home team will have to find a way to stop Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson. Having been selected with the last pick of the first round of the 2018 draft, Jackson got his chance because of an injury to starter Joe Flacco and has barely looked back. In his first full season in 2019 he led the league with 36 TD passes and set a record for most rushing yards to unanimously win MVP, and last season became the first QB to pass 1000 rushing yards more than once. The QB Performance spread awards 10 points per rushed TD or TD pass, 3 per completion and 1 per rushing yard, and while the Raiders defence is expected to be improved this season, Jackson is a threat on all fronts.
