Spread Bets Of The Day
Aberdeen and Motherwell start their Europa League qualification campaigns this Thursday – but what should football spread betting punters be watching? It’s the Sports Spread Bets of the Day! What are the best bets for Aberdeen v NSI Runavik? At 7.45pm on Premier Sports 1, Aberdeen – who, like Celtic, are in Nicola Sturgeon’s bad books – host the Faroe Island’s NSI Runavik in the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League. The Scots only have 3 games under their belts so far, instead of the 5 they were meant to have played at this point. The 2020/21 season opened with a 1-0 loss to Rangers, followed by a 1-0 victory over St Johnstone and a 2-1 win at home to Livingston. The Faroese bronze medallists, meanwhile, saw off Welsh semi-professionals Barry Town 5-1 in the preliminary round of qualification, but likely won’t have the run of things on Thursday night. Spreadex is offering a hefty Aberdeen/NSI Runavik Goal Supremacy spread of 2.15-2.35, a promising Total Goals spread of 3.2-3.4, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 161-176. A word of warning, however – Celtic had similar odds against Ferencvaros on Wednesday... What are the best bets for Motherwell v Glentoran?Thursday’s other televised qualifier is an all-British affair, as Motherwell take on Northern Ireland’s Glentoran, at 7.45pm on Premier Sports 2. Unlike Aberdeen and Celtic, Motherwell have played 5 Scottish Premiership fixtures. Not that it has done they much good. They have 2 draws and 3 losses, scoring just 2 goals across those 5 fixtures. Winners of the Irish Cup at the end of July, Glentoran then beat Havnar Boltfelag – another side from the Faroe Island – in the preliminary round of qualifying. Though the Scots sit at a one-sided Mothwell/Glentoran Goal Supremacy spread of 1.95-2.15, a Total Goals spread of 3.25-3.45 might be a bit ambitious given their current woes going forwards. Ditto a Total Goal Minutes spread of 161-176.
