Spread Bets Of The Day
It’s one of the biggest Premier League weekends of 2020/21, including a monstrous clash at the top – but what should football spread betting fans be watching? It’s the Sports Spread Bets of the Weekend! What are the odds on Man United beating Liverpool at Anfield? The last team to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the league was Crystal Palace, on April 23rd 2017. Can Man United change that this Sunday, at 4.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League? There’s no better time to do it than now. Since the start of November the Reds have only won 4 out of 10 in the league, with 5 draws and, on January 4th, a 1-0 loss to Southampton. They have also already lost at Anfield this season, a 2-0 defeat to Atalanta in Europe. United, meanwhile, are 3 points clear at the top of the table – they’d make it 6 with a win on Sunday – and have 9 wins and 2 draws in the league since November 1st. Those draws were, however, against City and Leicester, suggesting they maybe bottle it against the bigger sides – a theory backed up by their losses to PSG and RB Leipzig in the Champions League, and EFL Cup semi-final defeat to City last week. What are the odds on Mohamed Salah scoring against Man United? The league’s top scorer on 13 goals, Salah sits at a healthy PGM spread of 28-31, a SMM spread of 45-52, and is at 21/20 to score any time. In comparison, Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani both share a PGM spread of 14-17. What are the best bets for Man United v Liverpool? Spreadex have the Reds odds on to win at 19/20, with United at 13/5, alongside a Liverpool/Man United Goal Supremacy spread of 0.45-0.65. Their last meeting – a 2-0 win for Liverpool at home in January – produced 4 yellows. This time out Spreadex is offering a Bookings spread of 44-48. And after all the controversy around the number of spotkicks each side has received, Spreadex has a Penalty Goal Minutes spread of 16-19. When was the last time Fulham beat Chelsea? In a rescheduled West London derby, Fulham host Chelsea at 5.30pm this Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League. It’s crunch time for Frank Lampard. Fail to pick up 6 points from this weekend’s jaunt at Craven Cottage, and Tuesday’s trip to Leicester, and Roman Abramovich might start looking elsewhere. Luckily for Frank, Fulham last beat their derby-mates on March 19th 2006. Since then, the Cottagers have drawn 7 and lost 12 head-to-heads, including 5 consecutive league defeats to the Blues. That’s unlikely to change on Saturday. Spreadex is offering a Chelsea/Fulham (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.95-1.15, with a Total Goal spread of 2.7-2.9, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 138-148. The Blues should be wary though – as Spurs found out, Fulham are resilient, drawing 5 games on the trot. Who has the better odds of a top 4 finish, Leicester or Southampton? In a battle of the 2020/21 overachievers, Leicester host Southampton this Saturday, at 8pm on BT Sport 1. Currently the Foxes find themselves in 4th place on 32 points, ahead of the Saints on 29 in 7th. Neither, however, are fancied for a top 4 finish. Leicester sit at a Finishing Positions spread of 5.7-6.7, with Southampton at 8.5-9.5. Fixed odds-wise, the Foxes are at 5/2 to reach the top 4, compared to Southampton’s long-short 16/1. Either side could alter those odds with a win on Saturday. Spreadex is offering a Leicester/Southampton Goal Supremacy spread of 0.6-0.8, with a Total Goals spread of 2.6-2.8, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 132-142. When was the last time Sheffield United won 2 league games in a row? They beat Bristol in the FA Cup. They secured their first league win of the season on Tuesday. Now can Sheffield United upset Spurs, at 2.05pm this Sunday on Sky Sports Premier League? Not since early July have the Blades picked up back-to-back wins in the league, when they beat Wolves and Chelsea at Bramall Lane. Funnily enough, that was the end of a 4-game unbeaten streak which began with a 3-1 home win over Tottenham. Can the hosts do it again on Sunday? Probably not. Spreadex is offering a Tottenham/Sheffield United (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.85-1.05, alongside a Total Goal Minutes spread of 122-132. What are the odds on Harry Kane scoring against Sheffield? He is at a PGM spread of 34-37, well ahead of Son Heung-min at 21-24. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
