Spread Bets Of The Day
Seeking their first Champions League semi-final since 1994, can PSG beat Italian upstarts Atalanta? And what should football spread betting fans be watching? It’s the Sports Spread Bets of the Day! What channel is Atalanta v PSG on?Atalanta face Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon at 8pm on BT Sport 1. What are the odds on PSG winning the Champions League?Despite the money, 7 Ligue 1 titles in 8 seasons and countless domestic cups, PSG have never really come close to winning the big one. Repeatedly the Parisians have stalled out in the last-16 or quarter-finals – but this time fortune might be on their side. Avoiding the likes of Man City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona until a potential final, PSG appear to have a clear route to August 23rd. And yet, they are only at an Outright Index spread of 50-53, with fixed odds of 5/1. So, who are the favourites to win the Champions League? Man City are at an Outright Index spread of 65-68 with fixed odds of 11/5, while Bayern are at 52-55 and 3/1 respectively. What are the best bets for Atalanta v PSG?It is hard to tell which side is going to benefit more from this weird 2019/20 – Atalanta, who have completed a full Serie A season, or PSG, whose Ligue 1 campaign was cut short. There is something to be said for both game time and freshness. Not that PSG have been sitting at home in these recent weeks. They won the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue at the end of July, while they terrorised the likes of Le Havre, Waasland-Beveren and Celtic in a series of friendlies. However, they did lose a friendly to Inter, and were hardly convincing in their cup finals, beating Saint-Etienne 1-0 and Lyon on penalties. The Italians, meanwhile, were title contenders to the last in a far more competitive league, and scored more Serie A goals than another other team this millennium. That’s why a PSG/Atalanta Goal Supremacy spread of 0.5-0.7 might be unfair on the Italians. Spreadex are also offering a promising Total Goal Minutes spread of 3.2-3.4, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 161-176. And, considering the amount of yellow cards that are involved when PSG play, a Bookings spread of 54-58 is also worth keeping an eye on. What are the odds on Neymar scoring against PSG?In a season blighted by suspension and injury, Neymar still has an impressive record, with 19 goals in 24 games, including 3 in Europe. That leaves him at a PGM spread of 32-35, and odds on at 10/11 to score anytime. The bigger question, perhaps, is will Kylian Mbappe play against Atalanta? PSG’s top scorer with 30 goals in 34 games and 5 in the UCL, he picked up an injury following a horror tackle against Saint-Etiene, and was meant to be out for 3 weeks. He has been in training, however, and is at a PGM spread of 26-29 and fixed odds of 21/20. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
