Spread Bets Of The Day
Wednesday sees the three Champions League favourites in action – but what should football spread betting fans be keeping an eye on? It’s the Sports Spread Bets of the Day! Who is favourite to win the 2020/21 Champions League?Unsurprisingly defending champions Bayern Munich are favourites to pick up a 2nd consecutive European title, according to SpreadEX’s Outright Index. That’s where the winners get 100 points, the runners-up 75, the losing semi-finalists 50, the losing quarter-finalists 25 and the losing last-16ers 10.Bayern are at an Outright Index spread of 44-48, with a fixed odds price of 10/3. They’re followed by Man City at 42-46 – despite never getting past the quarter-finals under Pep – and Liverpool at 35-38. What are the best bets for Ajax v Liverpool?Losing Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek over the summer, depleted Dutch champs Ajax host their English counterparts Liverpool at 8pm on BT Sport 2. The Reds aren’t going into this game in the best form, coming off that 7-2 humiliation at Aston Villa and a 2-2 draw at Everton. Ajax, meanwhile, have won 4 in 5, most recently hammering Heerenveen 5-1. What are the odds on Sadio Mane scoring against Ajax? The Senegelese star is a huge difference maker for Liverpool, and sits at a PGM spread of 28-31. That’s behind only Mo Salah, who with 6 goals in 7 games is at a PGM spread of 34-37. Despite their domestic wobbles, our traders think the visitors shouldn’t have too many issues, offering a Liverpool/Ajax (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.8-1, alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.6-3.8 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 181-196. What are the odds on Man City beating Porto?Odds on favourites to win the Premier League now that Liverpool have lost van Dijk – SpreadEX has them at 17/20 – Man City start their European campaign by hosting Porto at 8pm on BT Sport 3. City haven’t exactly impressed this season, with 2 wins, a 5-2 loss to Leicester and a draw against Leeds. Yet neither have Porto, who have the same record since the Primera Liga began in September. The hosts do, however, have their Argentine ace back. What are the odds on Sergio Aguero scoring against Porto? He is at a PGM spread of 39-43, a SMM spread of 65-75 and is odds on at 8/15 to score any time. How many goals will Man City score against Porto? SpreadEX are offering an incredibly one-sided Man City/Porto Goal Supremacy spread of 1.8-2, alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.45-3.65, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 174-189. What are the odds on Lewandowski scoring against Atletico Madrid?Like almost every big team in Europe, Bayern haven’t been without fault in 2020/21. How will they handle Atletico Madrid, at 8pm on BT Sport ESPN? It does look like Bayern’s 4-1 loss at Hoffenheim was a blip. Their other results have included an 8-0 romp against Schalke, 4-3 and 4-1 wins over Hertha Berlin and Arminia Bielefeld, and victories in the DFB-Pokal, DFB-Supercup and UEFA Super Cup. Robert Lewandowski hasn’t slowed down either, with 7 goals in 6 appearances (though 4 of those did come against Hertha BSC). He heads into Wednesday night at a PGM spread of 36-39, and is odds on at 3/4 to score any time. Those prices are high, given that Atletico have conceded just once in 4 La Liga fixtures. Yet that hasn’t stopped SpreadEX offering a Bayern Munich/Atletico Goal Supremacy spread of 0.9-1.1, with a Total Goals spread of 2.75-2.95 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 142-152.
