Spread Bets Of The Day
There’s a lot to play for this weekend, from 3rd place to a spot in Europe to Premier League safety – but which markets should you be watching? It’s the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Leicester v Crystal Palace – 1st Leicester Match Goal, 47-50At one point the Foxes were dark horse title contenders, with a blistering hot forward leading the race for the Golden Boot. Now, they’re winless since the restart, in danger of giving up 3rd place, and have seen only 2 Jamie Vardy goals in 2020. Can they right the ship with a win over Crystal Palace this Saturday, at 3pm free on Pick TV? In 4 games Leicester have scored only twice, in the 90th minute against Watford and the 51st minute against Everton. Spreadex are offering a 1st Leicester Match Goal spread of 47-50, where no goal makes up at 90. 2. Wolves v Arsenal – Wolves/Arsenal Goal Supremacy, 0.2-0.4Both Wolves and Arsenal are still very much in the hunt for European football next season. They meet at 5.30opm this Saturday, on Sky Sports Premier League. At the moment Wolves are only missing out on a spot in the Champions League due to Man United’s superior goal difference. The Gunners, meanwhile, are a point behind Sheffield United as they chase down the Europa League. The hosts haven’t lost a game in their last 8 fixtures, but only squeaked wins over Bournemouth and Villa. Hence a slender Wolves/Arsenal Goal Supremacy spread of 0.2-0.4. 3. Chelsea v Watford – Total Goals, 2.85-3.05After the giddy highs of a 2-1 win over Man City came the lows of a 3-2 defeat in a thriller at West Ham. Which Chelsea will turn up this Saturday, as they host Watford at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League? As the Blues race for 3rd place – they were unable to take advantage of Leicester’s slip up at Everton – the Hornets are sitting uneasily on the precipice of the relegation zone, with a lone point separating them and Villa. Ahead of Saturday night, Spreadex are offering a Total Goals spread of 2.85-3.05. 4. Liverpool v Aston Villa – Aston Villa to Win Match, 8.3-11.2It was a cruel joke that Liverpool followed up their title win with a 4-0 defeat at Man City. Will they be able to shake that off as they host Aston Villa this Sunday, at 4.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League?Villa actually have far more to play for. In 18th place on 27 points, a win over the champions would potentially allow them to escape the relegation zone, dependent on how Watford and Bournemouth fair on Saturday. And maybe now is a better time than any to take on Liverpool, especially if you buy into the idea that they’ve switched off post-title win. Spreadex are offering a binary Aston Villa to win match spread of 8.3-11.2, making up to 100 for a victory and 0 for anything else. 5. Southampton v Man City – Man City/Southampton TGM Supremacy, 74-88Fresh off spoiling Liverpool’s title party, Man City travel to Southampton this Sunday, at 7pm on BBC One.In 5 games since the restart, City have kept 4 clean sheets – their only blemish came against Chelsea – while scoring 15 times. The Saints have been no slouches on the goal front, either, putting 3 past both Norwich and Watford. Heavy favourites heading into the fixture, Man City sit at a Total Goal Minutes Supremacy spread of 74-78. For reference, against Liverpool that market made up to 171; against Burnley it came in at 224. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
